Low was a very astute signing by Bloomfield and he deserves a lot of credit for it. Talented centre halves of his age are few and far between at this level and above.
Hopefully rumours not true. However if true perhaps we could sell him for a load of money and the club lend him back to us for the remainder of the season. We need him. Forino is clearly injure prone and has not progressed this season.
Given that Stewart was at Marlow Road last week, there’s potential that we may end up taking him back. I’m fully expecting his loan at Franchise to come to an end today and that we see the yellow and black gif later this evening.
Would I prefer to keep Low? Of course, but if Tools can rediscover his form from the play-off season, it would soften the blow somewhat.
Sometimes a player needs to come home to find themselves again. It happened with Tools first time round and it’s mad to think it happened with Scowen too!
Low is a great defender but has his limitations in my view. He doesn’t look much better than AJ at playing out from the back. AJ is much quicker I think. I would be delighted to see him back
With all three centre backs unavailable by the end of last nights game, having Stewart as an option would be beneficial. Not suggesting he would start over the other three but he would be a good addition and someone we know already.
If you're looking for an example of how a centre back can be severely lacking in minutes, yet step in to play the game of the season for us just when it matters, look no further than 'Bruce' at Maine Road in 1999.

£12 million and a pre-season friendly, and Arsenal can have him.

I saw three guys wearing Arsenal badged coats having a discussion just outside the main gates after the game. Tried to eavesdrop, but they moved away.

When does this window slam shut?
11pm tonight. I'd be very happy with a returning Anthony Stewart
Low is much better than Anthony Stewart, but if the club’s hand is forced then we may have to settle.
Stewart seems to be barely getting a look-in at Franchise, but perhaps that's due to injury, I don't know.

Stewart is an outstanding defender as he proved over and over again when we played against him at MK.
Testosterone won't.
It’s because Williamson wants them to play out from the back at all costs. Stewart can’t do that at all.

Who's AJ?
Anthony Joshua
Oops. That would be interesting

Suspect Anthony Joshua would offer limited mobility and be susceptible to pacy attackers. But when he met you for a 50/50 challenge...wow!!!
He's been so anonymous this season it's like he's not playing for us.
Low is a really good player and I hope we keep him.
Stewart coming back would be an excellent (and welcome) return.

That was a great day stuck in the corner.
Baird and Devine silencing the locals early on and 1000 Wycombe fans wondering how they would get out of Moss Side safely.
Yep. We got a call on 53mins saying "get him off now and we'll give you nuff dough"
According to their local rag, it was a ‘substantial’ offer.
£500,000 and you let us win the BSM semi-final
Highly likely to be in the same league as Blackpool next year so can't see the attraction for JLow.
But they have a rollercoaster which 2 miles of the ground and we don't......
No thanks.
