Lubala signs
I'm loving the video where he tries to pull the shirt about a bit - is this to make sure that the badge won't fall off and have to be returned to the manufacturer?

Not hugely prolific but few strikers are at this level that we can afford.
Looks like he was at Colchester last season so likely had a connection with Blooms already.
And yet he chose to play for him again?! (I joke, I joke)
Good luck Bez.
Seen some people make comment about refusing to play for them? What’s the story there? They just button fans bitter he’s left at the end of a short contract?
I noticed that there wasn't any mention of a contract in the article. Does that mean he's only signed until the end of the season?
Centre forward and head of quality control.
The interview from the Burton manager doesn't paint things in the greatest light about the player's conduct.
Their website gave him a glowing goodbye!!
FOLLOWING the expiry of his Burton Albion contract, Beryly Lubala has opted to join Wycombe Wanderers on a permanent deal.
The forward made 26 appearances for the Brewers after signing in the summer. However despite being offered a new contract at the Pirelli Stadium, Lubala has joined the Chairboys.

It's all part of the 'guess the contract' game we get to play under the current regime.
And journalist
With just two days remaining of the January transfer window, Matt Bloomfield has landed a news forward with the signing of Beryly Lubala!
Positive - taking the top scorer of a team above us.
Fighting the desire to make some comment about how is 6 goals in 6 months a top scorer...that's probably around what Leahy is on?
5 goals in 1,526 league minutes at 0.29/90 - which is better than any of our players have managed so far this season...
Although I still have reservations about Matt as manager , Bez could be a revelation welcome aboard .
favourite Beryl?
Good signing on paper. Pleased with it. Hope it’s followed up by a left back, which we are screaming out for, but don’t hold out much hope.
KVY pictured in training. Leahy fit. JJ fit. Blooms probably sees that as three appropriate options. I certainly do not. Leahy needs to be able to play midfield, especially whilst Josh is out. KVY is incredibly one footed, one dimensional and injury prone. JJ is 37 and hasn’t played regular football for approximately 18 months now.
Anyway, ignoring wider dynamics, Lubala looks a good signing and definitely appears similar in style to Hanlan from clips. Blooms was keen on Hanlan, so it’s no surprise to see him bring in this lad, presumably on a six month deal whilst Hanlan is out.
Edit - I should hope that these “he’s refused to play” stories are exaggerative in nature, although we have signed Lyle Taylor and Chem Campbell this season, so it does not surprise me one bit to see a third player brought in with rumours of attitude issues.
Oh dear. I was really looking forward to seeing what Matt Bloomfield was going to bring to Wycombe Wanderers as a manager. It’s just been one disappointment after another.
The character of the players he’s signing is really concerning. Even Gareth Ainsworth inherited Dean Morgan.
This feels like another step in the wrong direction.
Favourite Beryl?
Apart from King Kone
Ha! Only 53 mins so far ;)

"This was his last goal for the club before his move to Adams Park, where he was Burton's highest scorer this season."
Didn't we draw 0-0 with Burton at Adams Park?
No we drew 1-1 at their place. Beryl scored a screamer.
I know, I'm pointing out one of the several cock-ups in that article. My favourite from the BFP this week is them referring to a wolf as 'a big cat'.
Only 24 days ago too, but at Burton not AP. You're having a senior moment @flymofrank!
The Burton Albion media team must be cleaning the office today.
We drew 0-0 at home to Burton in August
What are you suggesting about his character that you dislike?
He refused to play his last game for the club despite being under contract.
I assume you are referring to his rape charge a few years ago for which the Court found him NOT GUILTY.
