Why he would be better than than the the useless Bloomfield who hasn't got a a clue,he should get a job looking after a teams youngsters as that is his level at best.
I'll have what he's smoking. I've rarely seen a more lethargic first 45 minutes. Completely outplayed by the team bottom of the league. His excuses are becoming embarrassing.
Our defending for both goals was abysmal but until their second McCleary had got away down the right several times. Grimmer blazed over, we had a number of shots blocked.
The last 15 was garbage though.
We’ve played a number of teams with 10 and not broken them down. We created a lot of chances and almost got a winner.
it wasn’t great but it wasn’t anything like the Morecambe cup game.
Bloomfield didn’t start Sadlier ahead of Campbell for reasons thought to be connected with the terms of his loan contract. My understanding is that such terms, if indeed they do apply on this occasion, put constraints on how and when a player can be used. Not ideal in the context of team spirit.
Something Phil didn’t ask Blooms, probably due to the nature of that performance, is for details on Josh’s injury. I hope it’s nothing serious, we miss him terribly when he’s not out there.
Probably sent him back to Sunderland or something…
If that is true, then that is another stupid move from Bloomfield.
We bring back a player who was poor last time around (Campbell) and have to play him ahead of a player who is one of the highlights of a very poor run of results. 🤦🤦🤦
Don't put any credit in anything I said about the terms of Campbell's loan. I made a comment, mostly tongue in cheek, quoting something posted by someone else.
It really have no idea if there is any truth in the rumour that we guaranteed him game time.
First 6-7 minutes the ball was all in Fleetwood's half, and i was settling in for the game i was expecting. Fleetwood then have a cross, which Max misses giving a looping header which we clear off the line. Fleetwood think: 'hang on they really are crap' at the same stage we realise 'OMG, we really are crap.'
Next 40 minutes or so both teams play their roles correctly according to the reality they are facing.
Inexplicably, one of their players, having recently got booked, decides to commit a stupid foul for no obvious reason when there is no obvious threat, and evens out the odds.
Second half, we come out and think 'we are playing a crap team down to 10 men, we can do this' whilst at the same time Fleetwood remember they are a crap team down to 10 men and from then until we score the penalty both teams play their roles according to the new reality they are facing.
Inexplicable, all of our players, having reduced the deficit, seem to think that it's job done and stop playing until Sadlier comes on and injects some urgency and class and we start to look like a team that wants to score goals. We equalise and probably should have gone on to put more pressure on them to get a winner, but in all honestly probably didn't do enough (not helped by some of the worst set piece delivery I can ever remember) to do so.

He's still listed as a director https://www.wwfc.com/club/contacts
Wait, he's listed as Sporting Director. Fuck me.
Why he would be better than than the the useless Bloomfield who hasn't got a a clue,he should get a job looking after a teams youngsters as that is his level at best.
Oh bloody hell. Sporting Director, he couldn’t direct traffic.
Does Pete negotiate the deals? Is that why he's hanging about at the mo in this Jan window?
Blimey, Blooms has blamed the first half performance on us being “too fired up”…
😂😂

A dejected-sounding McCleary:

I'd take anyone atm
Alan Smith’s available
And just maybe there lies the problem!
Somebody to post 'McCleary for manager' in 3...2...1....
Don’t sugar coat it, it was terrible and they could have had more in the first half.
We played so bad in that first half that we made Fleetwood (bottom of the league), look like Real Madrid.

That's not the context I hoped to hear the word "fired" today.

If that is the case, then whoever negotiated that deal at our end deserves the sack too.

I doubt it’s true
We do miss him, but shouldn't forget he was available for most of that 1 win in 15/16/17 game spell we're on.
We said similar for Potts being out for 6 or so games recently.
We are so lucky to have GMac, what a professional.
Was going to say. This "has to play" thing is often rumoured, but surely isn't true very often, if ever.
It just seems like something fans use to whip up more fury.

It's probably already sweeping round twitter and fb as fact now🤣
I really need to see who started the rumour.
So... As I saw it.

I think it may have been our man @micra
