Fleetwood definitely deserved a point. Leahy was very poor today. Boyes deliveries were very good...we were lucky he went off and they got a silly red . Pleased for Kone...Chem was anonymous but to be fair we were poor across the board. Still shot shy. Not what I expected today but an exciting second half at least. Charlie Adam has let himself go.
I think the most frustrating thing with the Bloomfield era is that he started out with high intentions, wanting us to play more ball-to-feet.
A path that many lower league teams have gone down, and found it's a dead end that they're not good enough to pull off.
But pretty much all of that has been abandoned now:
The playing it out from the back - mostly gone (thank god...)
The pinging it about between the midfield - gone
And it seems like we're mostly back to Gazball, play direct football and any actual clever ball-to-feet stuff is reserved strictly for the final third.
Which I'm OK with - other than the fact that we just don't do it as well as GA's sides.
I’m happy with Gazball - as long as Gaz and Dobbo are picking the team……soon …..please
Next Wednesday Ainsworth, dressed as Evil Knievel (a reference our owner would surely get), drives a Harley onto the pitch before attempting to leap a flat back five. He ends up crashing into the home dugout where he stays for another decade.
Job done.
Takes his helmet off and breaks into his best Michael Bolton..How am I supposed to live without you
Has the attendance been announced? Must be mid to low 3k I’d have thought, lots more empty seats around me than normal with a very small away attendance.
How is it that everyone who saw the team sheet questioned Sadlier being dropped for Campbell? It’s madness that we have got to play him.
And before we take any credit for a draw the second half was barely an improvement it was just that Fleetwood were shit
Infuriating that Campbell started over Sadlier. Campbell was rubbish can’t kick with his left foot so is always cutting back inside so of course play him on the left. Bizarre to say the least. Sadlier made a huge difference second half!!

I agree. We had a little chat with Sadlier during the HT subs warm up and he was not happy about being dropped. I really don’t blame him.
- Second half much improved, but let's not forget it was against 10 men.
- First half was the worst I've seen us play. It's extremely concerning that through such a dire run, we appear to be getting worse, not better.
- Chem Campbell was appalling today. How Bloomfield decided to start him over Sadlier I have no idea. A totally nonsensical decision.
- Kone has to start against Cheltenham.
- A draw against 10 man Fleetwood is not a good result, regardless of the comeback. The Couhigs need to act, not doing so is cowardly, and is damaging our club. If it's true that Pete has said he won't sack Blooms regardless of results, then frankly he can get out of our club too.
I'd have good money on us being in the bottom 4 by late Feb. At that stage it might be too late for a new manager to turn things around.

Pete Couhig is out of the club, isn't he? He's now just another nepo baby hanging around, with no more clout than his daddy.

Nothing in it.
He just loves his football to be proper and real.

Aha! Good knowledge. I withdraw my concerns.
I could be wrong! But I'm sure I've seen him at AP a couple of times.
Wouldn’t be happy with Jackett.
51.63065 and -0.80102, 51.63054 and -0.79944.
I looked up the coordinates for the two goals at AP. Can someone pass them on to Bloom and the forwards?

That's a painful crash
Not even with melted cheese and beans?
When McCleary blasted his penalty in, the first thing he did was run over to Leahy and gave him a hug. Class act.

Can’t we hand these out at the entrance to the terrace?
Gotta love the one arrow pointing the wrong way
Unmasked! Frequentstander is Phil Collins!
WTF is that?
Can't be as sadly due to his health he is a frequent sitter.
Some team that consistently failed to score, the fans turned up holding arrows pointing at the goal to help them out.
Said the Wycombe strikers when confronted with the goal

Brilliant but can’t see it working for us.

Thanks to you and @drcongo for bringing me up to speed.
And loved your own response. Took a 20 year old greenhorn to show them the way.
Kone was the only highlight of the game and Leahy was absolute rubbish, as was Campbell.
Thought Vokes was much improved second half, most of the attacking play came from his flick ons and hold ups.
That’s a fair comment.

Couldn’t get to the game cos of commitment with the kids so the only thing I can say I’m delighted for Kone.
and that’s it.

Who knows? He was at the game today.
