Comyn-Platt away at Scunthorpe still sends a shudder down my spine. Made Alan Beeton look like Stuart Pearce.
And Yves away at the PNLs was terrifying.
Long term Chairboys may also wish to make space for immobile midfielder, Nigel Taylor. Like a young John Cornforth but less fit and with zero tackling or ball playing skills.
This discussion occasionally comes up... Which ‘Nigel’ was worse - Taylor or Gray? For me, Nigel Gray was one of the poorest central defenders I’ve seen play for Wycombe... (In fairness to him, he used to be ok for Enfield, but by the time he came to us he was well past his ‘sell by’ date.)
Yes, Fola Onionbargy. Played against us for Swindon in a midweek game and the terrace were mocking him for being so crap. Then bugger me he signed for us about a month later.

Ahhhhh. Apologies, Sir... I missed your re-introduction ceremony.... 🙂
(I’m probably confused because I thought we already had a ’’flymofrank’ in the ranks...)
I am hoping Mo Frank behaves on his flight, as it would be annoying for TH to have to change again, I am sure!
This one's "cutting edge".
Ok. I’m probably the only Gasroomer who hasn’t a clue what that’s about @Shev. But í obviously need to know.
And a belated Happy, Healthy New Year to you and yours.
‘Fly mo frank’
Thanks Chris. Much too early for me.
I was going to say I’ll work on TH but I of all people should have twigged that one.
Didn't like the signing in the summer, still don't really understand why we went for him.
“Derby County legend becomes free agent”. (Google pop-up.)
got me thinking about 'worst wycombe XI's'. Hard to pick XI but the following would definitely make my lineup...
-Charlie Comyn-Platt (Left back signed by Adams on loan)
-Fola Onibuje (Striker. according to Wikipedia only scored for 3 of his 20 clubs!)
Big Yves in goal
Richard Logan

Stuart Green was dreadful
