Just for fun! - Attendance Prediction - West Ham U21s (h) - Tues 9th Jan '24 (Game RK)
Richard Kone doesn't seem to be the sort of person who minds the hype and limelight. I do hope he starts. Some speculation on Facebook about the crowd so I thought I would try this...
This won't count towards our regular season competition and is just for fun.
I have stuck a finger in the cold air and not used any reasoning power at all to come up with 654. If we do get a separate figure for the West Ham fans I guess 234 coming to watch what is (according to our clubs media) "lauded by many as the best under-21 side ever to have played in the competition since the launch of its new format in 2016."
So 654 total with 234 away.
Anyone is welcome to have a go at this.

Just for fun then....
432 with 123 'ammers
I thought there might be a few Armchairgirls and Armchairboys who will be watching (myself included) and will be interested in knowing how many are in the stadium - ๐.
Seems to be a bit of excitement about this so I'll go big and say 1001 with 301 'ammers
44 f-ing 2?
I'm actually considering paying to watch this from home just to see Kone in action. Am I mad?
No you are not. We will be watching from home. Kone has the potential to become the clubs greatest ever asset. No pressure then ๐
623 with 185 Hammers.
1,000 (400 away)
542 with 200 away. (Too many for my liking)
421
1,099 - 170 hammers
555
If youโre 555 Iโm 666 (with 195 being โAmmers)
999 with 333 harrys
650 Rainbow Chairboys and 150 Hammers
624 with 125.
1,125 in total.
Ok - no deadline today (well except kick off) - so it is ok to count. ๐
But no changing your mind at the last minute and anyone who predicts in the last 10 minutes will have an asterisk against their name. ๐๏ธ
800 with 200 away
987 with 234 please

881 with 324 per club Twitter.
But at least 1500 will be claiming to have been there to see Kone score his first goal at AP, ๐
Top 19 for the Total Crowd:
From my experience on this occasion as an arrmchairboy the game was well worth watching.
A total of 881 were there. 19 of us made predictions and the average of our predictions was 728.
Many congratulations to @ryan_w_kirkby2 who was closest and the only forecaster within one hundred. The top six were all better than the collective average. Congratulations to @PJS, @Will_i_ams, @Onlooker, @MindlessDrugHoover and @MBS. I see the top two on our current Leaderboard up there keeping sharp on a no pressure fixture.
Top Thirteen for the Away Crowd: [Actual 324] [Our average - 219]
Many congratulations to @Will_i_ams who missed by just 9. Congratulations to @MindlessDrugHoover, @Onlooker, @PJS and myself whi=o were all within one hundred and co-incidentally up on the collective average.
Top Thirteen for the Home Crowd: [Actual 557] [Our average - 555]!
Pat on the back for all those who predicted - our collective average was out by just two persons.
Cpongratulations to @ryan_w_kirkby and @Onlooker who were joint closest with predictions of 600. @wwfcblue, @Shev and @Manboobs were all closer than one hundred.
I also had 800 but separated the crowds
Exactly so - my mistake.
@wwfcblue joins @ryan_w_kirkby2 at the top of the table. Many congratulations and apologies.
