He certainly had other memorable games for us, but to me The Jermaine Easter Game was Bury (H) in 2006.
Friend who had been living abroad and was seeing Wycombe for the first time in a while: “So tell me about some of the players I haven’t seen then. What about this Easter guy then?”
Me: “Don’t hold your breath, you’re not missing much to be honest”.
And although he’d been decent for Stockport from whom we signed him, he had indeed done precious little for us up till then.
Could you remind me which one this is? Remember his six game scoring run when he joined, but can’t put my finger on a game and annoying me as he was my favourite player in his time at the club!
Couple from me:
stuart Roberts game - Northampton away
Rob Lee game - Bristol Rovers away
Trying to think of Martin Taylor game, but can’t come up with one that would do him justice.
Surely the Martin Taylor Game would be the 5th Round replay against Wimbledon? Saved the Pen in the last min of the 90 then saved one after Jamie Bates missed to keep us in the Penalty shootout before scoring the winner
I'm going to withdraw mine, because as good as Castledine was that day, I also remember thinking Miguel DeSouza was the best player I'd seen at Wycombe since Garner. So that's definitely the Miguel DeSouza game. But then again, he had a few didn't he.

But cue a hat-trick…

Steve Guppy game Vs Gateshead
The Stuart Castledine game (away at Bradford)
Was that not the FA Cup quarter final?
One for the kids - the Dylan Evans game
One to bring back nightmares - the Mark Foran game
The Stuart Roberts Game - 5-0 Northampton game Hat-trick after coming on as a Sub
The Danny Bulman Game (Butman) after scoring his first goal using his Bum against Bristol Rovers
Surely the Martin Taylor Game would be the 5th Round replay against Wimbledon? Saved the Pen in the last min of the 90 then saved one after Jamie Bates missed to keep us in the Penalty shootout before scoring the winner
The Ray Wilkins game
The John Motson Game - Dec 1990
The Tony Price Game (79-80, I have previously posted about this one).
The Tony Sorrell game
Bradford City (a) in 95/96. Although he got a hat trick in both games against Bradford that season didn’t he?
Interestingly, that game has now been called "The xxxxx Game" twice, but with a different player each time
More what happened off the pitch.
Danny Bulman game (Debut goal with arse)
Danny Hilton game (A complete arse firing his penalty high into the sky at the garden shed end, up past the chippy and through the bowling alley)
The Scott McGleish Games, home and away.
The Alex Jakubriak game where ducked under the header lest he ruined his mascara?

Castledine was so good that day that I reckon it's a justifiable shout.
But yeah, also we all came away thinking we'd got a striker that was worth a million quid
The Paul Hayes game. That volley against Spurs or that last minute penalty against Exeter City.
Dylan Evans - 4 goals at Walthamstow (Keith Searle suffered a bad injury - a week before the big FA Cup game v Newport).
Mark Foran - sent off at Notts County after being completely rubbish?
Wycombe fans chanting "off! off! off!" that day and then cheering when he was red carded
The Frimpong game - made his debut, and I'm fairly sure his only league appearance, as a sub CF v Charlton. I think we lost 1-0.
Yes (though also Dagenham home 1976) and Yes.
i think every Wycombe player in the crowd cheered when he was sent off!
The Keith Searle Game. Probably several but I'm thinking boot kissing.
The Stuart Beavon Transfer Window.
Altrincham (A) 1992, the Dennis Greene game.
The Uche transfer deadline day.
24/9/87 a 0-0 draw against Wycombe Nose Club.
That’s 1887 of course. The rest, as they say, is history………
