No matter to me that Grimmer's having a mare on the wing; 45 minutes of that gorgeous, leggy blond running up and down in front of me has made my day. McCleary's missed a sitter but look at those buns! That absolute beast of a hunk Tafazolli has played their centre forward onside again but he can use his tools on... Now that's objectification.
Ha ha, a much livelier discussion style than on here. Perhaps I should stop trying to tart it up and just tell this lot to shove their prawn sandwiches where the sun don't shine.
The style of a forum tends to settle after a while, based on the preferences of most of the contributors. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, those who don't find the discussions lively enough can always set up an alternative forum.
"So many “supporters” of Wycombe are useless. They make up stories, reinforce negatives and make it very difficult to build a solid team. Nor do they possess the knowledge about the game that they pretend to have.
So, I suggest you whiners and losers go back to playing Football Manager in your Mom’s basement and leave the work of building a squad to the people involved"
To borrow a quote: 'Awful stuff this' but the fact that a few make the odd comment on the football threads but fill these ones helps to remind me which posters I blocked and why.
I understand that but anyone unaware of the post to which you refer might think that the quote belonged to me. It would have been clearer if you had pointed out who it came from, but no problem.
Are you really trying to act like some sort of highly intelligent English expert while simultaneously backing some utter oafs with a loathsome horrible flag message?
You think that understanding the difference between belonging to a group and owning an object shows high intelligence? I'd say that's rank average. As for the 'oafs' bit - it simply fuels my suspicion that this is not just about the flag.
There should obviously also be some sort of age range...I mean if it's all of their women it could go from a welcome lack of ageism at one end of the spectrum to verging on criminal charges at the other end.
And if they drink all of the beer first, could be some of their women might be disappointed.
Mischievous Malone! I have always considered you one of the more fair minded gasroomers, so I don’t believe you really think the entire Couhig family are in agreement with an opinion that just one of them posted.

Check the wording again. It’s “your women” as if they are objects owned by the male members of the opposition fans.
ergo: objectifying.
No, it doesn't mean 'your' in that sense. It's more like your friends, your dad, your footballers, your compatriots etc
Strange hill to die on.
All of your examples are things you are associating as belonging to a person or group of people.

Kevin Couhig has now deleted this comment.
Why do people care? Kevin’s not involved with the club. I couldn’t give less of a sh** what he thinks.
Yes, it's in the sense of belonging to a group - not in the sense of ownership or control.

does the beer they’re drinking belong to the group as well? Or is that an object that the group own they are looking to drink?
because both the women and beer is all lumped together as things in that flag.
They're only lumped together if you don't understand that basic linguistic distinction.
His brother literally owns the club. He should keep a lid on it.
It's the unprofessionalism that's the issue.
He doesn’t own the club though. He’s not financially involved. He’s allowed an opinion.

Just as well only 100s and 100s of fans saw it, screenshotted it, pasted it all over the place etc.
Otherwise it could have been pretty embarrassing for him.

Obviously the implication is that he's voicing what his family think. That's when it gets a bit unseemly.
Really truly terrible. I haven’t seen an official response from the club but it certainly merits one.
The flag needs to be changed to Have consensual sex/ 21 units a week
Which would probably shit the opposition up more than the original.
I don’t think that implication is fair, members of my family could write something provocative but it doesn’t mean that they reflect my views.
Even in my younger days, having 21 units of consensual sex a week - three a day - would have been a struggle.
I've seen some of what a family member of yours writes...all highly positive stuff so that way round is OK :)

The real crime here from Kevin is a completely unprovoked attack on people playing football manager in their mom’s basement.
If we lived in America and my mom/mum had a basement, I’d have a lovely time playing football manager down there.
