Always one of my favourite away trips in the Isthmian League. A good, relatively well supported (for a non-league London club), and no particularly fierce rivalry.
Seem to remember their fans were quite friendly and seem to remember drinking in the bar under the stand where the players from both sides would come in and chat (and drink) after the game.
Good to see them doing well and whilst it’s not exactly an exciting draw for us, it probably looks worse from their perspective.
Definitely not a foregone conclusion, could be a tricky tie. Sutton have done very well since their deserved promotion to the Football League and will surely fancy their chances against us, especially if they go through the tape of our match on Saturday...
One of my first ever games was v Sutton - 2-2 in 1970. Enfield won the title, Sutton were third. The following year we pipped Sutton to the title by one point.
I've really upset someone or they've bought to let the downvote on every one of my posts. Even the least facile rather than engaging in proper argument ones.
Isn't it. Oooh my first away pitch invasion, rosy cheeked young boys, rosy cheeked old men. The pitch is just sand! Will we overturn a first leg deficit? Of course we will, cucumber will get a brace! Pretending the sun isn't burning, but secretly desiring the cool balm of mother's special cream

Most certainly an opportunity to get to round 3
Ideal game. Home to lower league.
Get a better selection of bigger draws in round 3.
Doesn't Scotty Kashket play for them now?
Forest Burnley will be on the telly. That and whoever Wrexham are playing.
The Scott Kashket derby
Great draw, a chance to progress and a reminder of some former classic encounters.
Not one to get the blood pumping perhaps but more minutes for more players. Winning is a good habit.
The Craig Eastmond derby
Regular opponents back in the day. Unforgettable FA Trophy semi-final games in 1993.
Scott Kashket plays for them now. Will be good to see him back (as long as he doesn't score).
(Pins medals on chest) God, Watching Sutton play Wycombe takes me back a few years
my inner Tomas Tickov would have far preferred this to be an away game, but oh well...
He does but seems to have been rested in round 1. Hopefully not a knock as didn't play 60 in the league.
Hopefully pricing follows suit with the MK game.
If they try and set this at £20 or more it'll be empty.
How much were MK tickets?
Have we played them since the 0-4 semi final win in 1993?
No, that was the last time.
I doubt it, we’ve been in the League since and can’t remember drawing them in the FA Cup.
To slightly misquote Rilke. I hold a fading programme in hands that are fading too.
Good opportunity to progress

£10 for adults. £1 for under 14s.
To think, they still couldn’t fill 3 blocks.
I think if they watch the video of the Exeter game, their complacency will be their downfall.
10 for season ticket holder adults. Great little bonus that.
12 for an adult otherwise.
Something like that will be spot on.
All this, plus quid a kid. Otherwise we'll struggle to get 2000 there.

Can we give him another shirt before the kick-off? It worked last time.
I wouldn't worry about downvotes, some people here will downvote even the most innocuous and factual content.
It's just the nature of forums like this.
