Allegedly, at the end of season walk round was heard to say we’re off to the Championship- see ya, as well as stating an aspiration to be a Cheshire Wag (!). Allegedly.
There was an article suggesting that Readings immediate issues aren't that the owner is skint but that the regime having given up on the very brief idea of being loved as a footballing superpower specifically introduced measures that made it very difficult for citizens to take huge sums out of the country and piss them away on things like football clubs.
The longer term issue would seem to be that having proved he doesn't have a single clue how to run a football club and wasted £200m on not very much that he now lacks either the desire or ability to do much with the club unless they are suddenly a prospect for the top division.
I will issue you an apology sir, as searching back on the (fairly awkward) search facility, the first mention I can find about this move back north is from...
It’s not that I’m anti Taf, or JMc, or TJ, it’s that others find them so praiseworthy that winds me up! Things may improve as I’m following a seniors tolerance course (although the people running it haven’t got a clue!).

Mrs Wing drove over MB's cat? Or @perfidious_albion 's cat?
Surely that requires cat-awareness.
Or, more likely, it’s awareness of situations (rather than self).
Sounds like a very, very precarious situation at Reading
Be a sad situation if Wingy or his agent dropped a clanger. GA might have a hill to climb with the fans to revive any deal at QPR.

Poor Lewis, seems such a nice gentle lad.
She can console herself with a trip to Costco, Reading and dinner at Cosmos.
Oh dear. That's unfortunate. Allegedly.
I hope he gets paid then or things could get a bit testy at WIng Towers.
Well the Champo dream may be over but the Cheshire Wag dream does not have to be - I am sure Crewe could find a place in the squad.
Now I remember where all the "up north" and "championship" talk started from.
It was you and your 8th hand hearsay.
So she's a Poundland Rebekah Vardy?
Or just Rebekah Vardy basically.
Do your homework before casting your own aspersions. No it wasn’t. I was told about this just under a week ago.

We won't know until the box is opened 😉

erm Me..quoting some random off the fb group.😂
Good point well made
Thank you @Malone for taking the time to correct the record. I wouldn’t know where to start.👍
Always need to admit your mistakes on here, even if it was slightly tongue in cheek with the "8th hand" part 😘
Otherwise resentment can build and I wouldn't be able to josh you about your Taf and McCarthy anti-love.
Top man @Malone 👍

Fair play to Reading for thinking of the deaf community, despite thier difficulties
Thanks for the explanation @perfidious_albion .
