Seeing as I placed them top of the FourFourTwo badge rankings, it would be remiss of me not to go for Forest. Sutton's green parakeet is pretty cool, though.
That is a surprise for me too, and I think the history of the successful clubs must be influential. I am leaving all votes open until the group stages are complete, but currently, the group leaders are:
Prem: 6
Champo: 5
L1: 2
L2: 1
As an aside, I am probably going to survey a couple of Americans who do not know as much about football, my wife (who has a certain amount of familiarity, to be fair) and my brother-in-law, who has worked in graphic design. It would be interesting to see which badge wins if there is no emotions or history tied to the badge for the viewer.
I am perhaps an unusual Forest fan in that I prefer the ‘old’ badge, which was the crest of the City of Nottingham. Two stags, a ragged cross and a castle.
I believe the current badge was designed by a lecturer at Trent Poly as the winner of a competition.

I love Forest's, though I have to wonder how a solitary tree makes a forest.
Love all four of these. Went for Orient in the end though.
yeah, Orient for me, certainly a clean classic look to it, although generally this is a very good group.
Intrigued by the "swingers' party" implications of the keys on Sutton's crest though.
Forest all the way.
Those two stars don’t help it really, but are forgivable on the basis that they really wind up Derby County supporters.
Orient is a potential tournament winner for me. Sunderland and Sutton good too. Forest comfortably worst of the four IMHO.
Hopefully a lower league team may beat a premiership team in this group. Surprising how top league dominated this has turned out.

I know what you mean @Forest_Blue but I like the tree (also very good for the environment)
All good badges these but I went for Sunderland. Unfortunately Group M were all rubbish and any one of these would have beaten all four of them.
My sons like the tree too @Wendoverman …and didn’t Forest end the season well under Steve Cooper?
From one acorn grows a mighty oak!
Indeed. A rare occasion that a manager is (possibly) spared the axe by the owner because of the support of the fans...
If he can keep the best players, decide what his best team is and keep them fit, fingers crossed for mid-table respectability next term.
"Spared the axe" very apt for anything to do with Forest! (Which you probably intended).
I didn't...but I will say I did now if it makes me look clever.
You always look clever, mate.
Which is all that matters...
