Technically not Wimbledon as they were in the top flight before the Premier League started. Luton would be the first to climb four tiers wholly in the Premier League era, which would be quite something considering how fundamentally the landscape of the game has changed since 1992.
Probably more difficult to slip all the way through the net in the post 1992 cashed up era, clubs make a mess of themselves and slip through from Prem to L1 but the ability to pop yourself into administration and write off all debt and emerge with huge crowd sizes make them likely to head back upward again.
Always thought Luton and Cov had much bigger crowds and more cash than us but still no mean feat for both to be in with a chance of the top league in competition with much bigger clubs and better facilities.
Northampton earned promotions in 61, 63, 65 moving from 4th tier to top tier. They then were relegated in 66, 67 and 69 returning to fourth tier. Bottom to top to bottom in nine years. They have flirted with a return to non league on several occasions including of course in our “Torquay season”
Interestingly, Northampton are the only club to remain in the bottom two tiers for the entirety of Wycombe's league existence, after the other (Rochdale) was just relegated. Wycombe would also have matched this before the Champo promotion.
I think it's a lot, if they haven't proved or even suggested he did anything related to match fixing or sharing information I'm not sure who he's hurt, although you don't want players betting on games generally.

Carlisle - one season in the top flight and one in the Conference
Glossop North End
Football wasn't invented in 1992
Pretty sure no one’s ever gone from the top flight, to non-league and back again.

I never realized they played in the top flight! Great shout!
John Gorman played for Carlise in the top flight.
They only had one season and were relegated but after three games they were actually top having beaten Chelsea, Middlesbrough and Tottenham.
They had a great kit in the top flight.

Spurs have also gone from non-league to top flight, there are probably others. Thinking needs to change from 'Premier League' to 'top flight'.
No, but the Premier League was.
This would be incredible https://twitter.com/WhoScored/status/1658761638890143746?t=eHBdLOVhWQDPobAOcrU-eQ&s=19
Parents a big fan of Neil?

His contract ends next month.
Great stat!
I believe Northampton were only spared relegation in 90-something as Stevenage's ground wasn't good enough for them to come up?
I am almost surprised that Northampton got promoted, as we have been doing our best to avoid each other for the past 7 years.
2015-16 till 2017-18: They are in L1, we are in L2.
2017-18: We get promoted to L1, they get relegated to L2.
2019-20: We get promoted to Champo, they get promoted to L1.
2020-21: We get relegated to L1, they get relegated to L2.
2021-22: They miss out on promotion owing to 7-0 Brizzle win.
Ivan Toney banned for 8 months. Brutal.
I know this may be a tremendously dumb question, but does this include the offseason, or from when the new season starts?
How long was Scott Kashket banned for?
With immediate effect
Deserves it. No doubt he will still get paid by Brentford.
3 months iirc.
Bugger. I had twenty quid on 7 months.
Not really, shouldn't have done it. 50k fine is a bit rubbish as well, bet that's not even a weeks wages for him

Good to see people getting behind a young man who made a mistake. Heartwarming scenes
