Man of the Match season standings - FINAL
Sorry this is a bit late, just got back stateside. The Player of the Season voting is already done, so this is academic, but Josh Scowen beat all of his formidable records from last season. I have attached the full spreadsheet, but here is the rundown of the main categories:
Overall votes:
- Scowen = 425
- Wheeler = 281
- Wing = 272
- Stryjek = 249
- Forino = 234
- Mehmeti = 203
- Mawson = 191
Votes per start (minimum 10 starts):
- Scowen = 12.5
- Mawson = 9.55
- Wheeler = 8.78
- Freeman = 7.94
- Mehmeti = 7.81
- Wing = 6.63
- Stryjek = 6.07
Overall MOTM awards:
- Scowen = 9 (incl. 1 shared)
- Wing = 6
- Forino = 6
- Wheeler = 5
- Stryjek = 5
- Mawson = 5
It's Scowen's world, and we are just living in it. Well done to the lad.
Nice to see Nick Freeman coming in 4th in votes per start, though sub appearance votes do help boost this.
Very strange to not see GMac win a single MOTM award all season, but hopefully he'll be back to top form next season.

I agree - surely some kind of medal could be awarded, for services to recycling (plastic disposal).
Strange that Forino got 6 MOTM awards, missed quite a few games and yet wasn't in the top 7 of votes per start?
