I think it's great, although I don't understand how it can be good enough for the Championship but not the Prem - other than maybe for broadcasting practicality?
Agreed , how could an Arsenal or a Manchester United fan possibly be expected to sit in a stadium that has been deemed safe and comfortable enough for the fans of every club in every other league as if when you decide to support a local team you are somehow a peasant.
It is a shit hole though. Zero leg room and almost no visible facilities of any kind do not make for character.
I really want them or Coventry. It would remind me of my childhood (yes, it really is all about me). Anyone who was in Panini 1986 as a first division team has a sovereign right to get back there, in my book.
Either way, I am sure no-one has gone from top flight down to non-league and then back again. I think only Notts County, Oxford and Oldham could join that club currently, in theory?

I think it is slightly
No - Gloucester is a couple of miles further south than Bishop's Stortford.
I believe Bishops Stortford have had to play in the North before too. Just poor luck on location of other teams.
It should be Bishop's, of course. They had two seasons in Conference North, 2011-13, before transferring to Conference South.

Quick quiz based on this play-off semi... What was unique about the final appearance of Tony Mowbray's playing career?
It was his first appearance at Wembley.
✅
Must be some others who've done that
(Maybe unique was the wrong word!)
Is Bedfordshire the only English county with a 25-letter alphabet?
The more pearl clutching there is over the prospect of Kenilworth Road being a Premier League ground the more i want Luton to be promoted.

Show me a club with no shame at all

I have just realized that Luke O'Nien could be a Premier League footballer less than three months from now.

Anyone but Luton, horrible club.
Disliked started when they had the vile Tory David Evans as chairman.
My heart bleeds for Sunderland...
You’d have to imagine that what Luton are currently doing to Sunderland at Kenilworth Road is what Gareth had planned for them at Wembley.
Unfortunately they’re plan has come together (so far) whereas ours never even got started.
I still can't write Sunderland off. They have done incredibly well to get into the playoffs. I do hope Luton see it out though.
Sunderland spending fewer days in the Championship playoff spots than Reading this season is my new favorite football fact.
Coventry were only there for 17 days!
Sunderland players getting too big for their boots - surely not?!
Football is the best sport in the world, and the football league pyramid is the best thing about it.
Well done Luton! Now for a Coventry final and it is a win-win. Crazy to think we all went up together from L2!
Fair play Luton. If Cov beat Boro then we've got two sides who came up with us from League TWO battling it out for a Prem spot.
And no team has ever gone from non-League to the PL. So close...
Forgot Wigan did it - duh!
The original Wimbledon?
