Watching the playoffs in a dog friendly beer garden. A beautiful young woman has proudly informed me that her dog is called 'Granville'. 'After John?' I said. No idea, it was a long shot in the north west I guess.
I’d never heard of this lad so looked him up, turns out he’s Albanian and a former youth player at Ipswich. Aside from his diving he looks like he could be a future Anis and I’d guess Blooms already knows him.
I am pleased that Oxford City won today, and got to the fifth tier for the first time. St Albans looked completely unprepared. The Hoops manger, Ross Jenkins, has introduced a tougher, winning mentality after years of them being a 'nearly' team.
That City v United league derby is one step closer, would have been two steps but for three points.
The attendance was 3,100, a new ground record. I have to say a crowd that size was a little uncomfortable, the ground has little cover, lacks much elevation and sight lines are poor, even in the seats. They really need to build a new stand for away fans at the east end, something they were planning to do 18 months ago.
Always loved going to Aggborough from that memorable and volatile 1-0 win in the 1/4 final of the trophy in 81/82.
To the game where Guppy scored direct from a corner, I think we won 4-1, and saw the Scottish Sex Pistols on a venue just below Aggborough in the evening.
Yes, 30 years ago they played a part in one of the most important days in our history, and didn't spoil the party. I miss that funny shaped main stand they had.
I feel sorry for Brackley, year after year they get into the play-offs, and always fail. They are still overachieving, however.
Indeed, but everyone can have the proverbial "bad day at the office".
They need to put it behind them & finish on a high with 2 wins & then add some depth to do it all again next season, if they can do that it will show that Arteta's plan is working just fine.
Very unfortunate for Bishop's Stortford, but i don't see the point in an appeal. No one is going be further north the next time the leagues committee meet!

CMS on TV with after-match chat.
Nottingham County doing a very good Spurs impression on telly.
I can't remember ever seeing a goalkeeper take two touches from a goal kick. That was the least of his problems.
Relegation confirmed for Southampton! Just the 6 league wins for them this season.
That’s the worst goalkeeping howler at Wembley since Stockdale.
Mehmetiesque goal from Dobra

Great name for a dog ! I have a friend who's dog was called Wainwright
Sorry, probably should be a different thread
Ended up 2-2, now for pens
Some better than others
After that sitcom with David Jason in the little shop from about 50 years ago?
That might be an even bigger stretch!
Don't Google Brackley Gliding club, other wise you may think a national icon, isn't far away from a 'stretch'.
She looked like she would be open all hours tonight tbf
Both games are live on BT Sport.
There can't have been a two more southerly teams in a North final?
Gutted that the Boro fans aren't chanting Chuba Akpom's name to the tune of 'Sex Bomb'

Peak Arsenal
As an 'o'neill boomer' it's good to see Kiddy back in the Conference

Leicester giving Everton fans a huge boost at the moment

The most southerly club ever to play in the National League North? https://twitter.com/Alexmitton10/status/1658072987134836736?t=COQcoRxniGC6cPw4xpdV8A&s=19
I would prefer if being crushed by their title hopes being dashed will carry over to next Saturday at least @Erroll_Sims

is Bishop's Stortford any further south than Gloucester City, who play in that league already?
