Pitch renovations downsized
I understand that the pitch renovations have been downsized from the planned total rework of the under layers to a much cheaper surface renovation only.
Not sure of the detail behind this info though.

We need something to cheer us up.
Not sure that quite hits the spot!
Sorry @micra
Interesting to see the toilets refurb is now being paid for along with a number of other items by the trust who are donating what was borrowed from them. Either there are some massive projects coming soon or I'm struggling to see how us trust members now owning less of the club than we did a few hours ago is the transformation it was presented as.
Do any other set of fans / attendees in any other walk of life go on about toilets as much our fans do?
No, but most attendees paying £20 a week to use a facility find they get a tidy up once every couple of decades.
The cheer is that we have 3months or so without a game soon.
Time to forget the woeful last spell of games and start cultivating massively unrealistic expectations and hopes for next season.
Imagine if we'd started a season with that game today!
There was hot water in the Frank Adams stand toilets today.
And...
That is it for positives from today
From what RC has said the total renovation of the pitch had to be cancelled due to the time it took to get the new shareholder agreement finalised. I suspect there is some truth in that as they would have wanted the contractors to start on Tuesday but until the deal was done over shareholding the contract for works couldn't be issued as there would have been uncertainty over who was going to pay what...
Hopefully you mean in the sinks, rather than the toilets themselves...
Well I was sorely tempted to put my head in the bowl to try and forget it all at the end….
RC said this would be the case due, in part at least, to the time it's taken for the new deal with the trust to be ratified. A process he found to be "frustrating".
Rob says a lot of things
And the Trust say very little!

Funny how these things get chopped up but this is better from RC
