Freeman please. Did more in a 5 minute cameo than anyone else out there.
O - None of the above.
Forino did ok I guess.
I abstain
My chosen option is to flounce out of the polling station, melodramatically tearing my voting card to shreds. Sorry, but I can’t see any positives from that right now.
Noted, thanks! I missed the second half as I suspected it would be 45 minutes I would never get back, and just saw the 4 Ws comment on the subs and guessed!
I thought long and hard, but can't disagree.
Wheels, but it was a very low bar.
Freeman contributed the most, but he’s not even in the poll.
Good choice, if you thought the first half was bad...
Apologies - I stopped watching at half time so I could get my kids out in the sunshine and clean the blood out of my eyes.
No worries @Shev Thanks for running the MoM posts this season.
None of them. All rubbish and should be ashamed of themselves!!!
Cheers mate!
Fair call, yeah on second thoughts I give my vote to @Shev
I’m taking the 5th after attending that 💩!
Scowen. Well below his best, but not as poor as the rest of the team. Freeman would have been tempting if he was in the list. He did at least play a couple of decent passes and a good cross to Vokes for what I believe was only one of 2 attempts on target.
The problem was after the penalty we sort of fell apart, lost all team cohesion & played like 11 blokes who had just met in the changing room before the game.
Our cause was not helped by Taf strolling about as though he didnt have a care in the world, perhaps he doesn't & has already lined up a cushy gig for next season, it did mean Forino ended up doing the job of two men & Gape & Scowen dropping ever deeper to fill the holes in the defence. Consequently we pretty much ceded the midfield to Cheltenham, until Wing & then Freeman came on, sadly too little too late...
As to who played well, to be honest very few of them today. There was lots of honest endeavour from Vokes, McCarthy, Scowen & Gape but no one stood out, young Cartwright in goal did ok despite the goals until his rookie mistake for their third, at least he seemed to try his best.
Sadly I cannot bring myself to choose anyone so am going to abstain for only the second time this season.
Just like last week, whatever we ply badly Scowen still manages to put in a shift.
it’s not exactly glowing praise but it’s better than what everyone else managed to offer up.
It is certainly a funny old game. As I did not think Taff's played badly or looked disinterested. I think lacking any attacking threat from the midfield and strikers who were doing more ambling about than the defence seemed to be the problem to me. Lucky he does not use the cashpoint at the Tesco Express after matches by the sound of it.
@Wendoverman Tend to agree with you, as from what I can remember, he did make two pretty important goal-line clearances in quick succession when the score was still 0-0.
I wasn't sure what Taf had done to deserve the extra criticism? Can't say he had a good game, but didn't think he was any worse than anyone else. He did at least come up to the fans and seemed to apologise for the performance after the final whistle. I guess he's calm, assured playing style can come across as lazy and can't be arsed when things go badly!
