Just spent 20 mins clearing out the tin cupboard of things like spam, tinned fruit, etc and made up a shopping bag full. My good deed for the day, hopefully to be rewarded by seeing a decisive Wycombe victory.
Steady on old chap. Every Labour government in my lifetime (apart from Tony Blair 1997-2007, and he was a Tory in all but name) has been a complete economic disaster, leading to a need for even more food banks. Probably the worst was the Callaghan administration 1974-1979, with militant unions holding the country to ransom while uncollected rubbish piled up in the streets. 'Crisis? What crisis?'.
The current lot are working hard to distance themselves from Corbyn and his Marxist chums, but are fooling nobody.
Nothing 'spoof' about this poster. I stand by every word I've posted. And I sat in seat I said I would at today's game, and like most others, was very disappointed with Wycombe's poor performance.
@drcongo mentioned 'landlord' as if it was a derogatory term. None of the tenants I've had in my Loudwater flat over the past 11 years could afford to buy a property, and if I hadn't let the flat at reasonable monthly rentals, they'd have had nowhere to live.
As for 'horrible politics', I've seen them all come and go since I first voted in 1966, and don't need any lectures from the Bollinger Bolsheviks / Dave Spaerts who appear to frequent this forum.
I'm sorry to hear that rather than engage in any rational debate, your reaction to anyone whose views don't accord with yours, is to put your fingers in your ears, and go la-la-la-la-la.
I'll be happy to buy you a pint at the Cheltenham game on Saturday.
Sigh ... I really don't know what else I have to do to prove this isn't a 'spoof' or 'parody' account.
@drcongo will have my details in the database from when i registered for the Gasroom. My email address contains my first name and surname, and a simple Google search will link to my company website.
Anyway, I've now bought a season ticket for 2023/24, and will be in the Frank Adams stand, Block N, Row D, Seat 93 for most if not all home games next season. Any gasroomers who want to say hello, you know where to find me.

I always see these and applaud but never have the organisation to bring stuff or stop at Tesco. If you're similar they will also take £ donations:

Well done @bargepole - don't forget to also not vote tory so that in the future we might not need food banks.

Ah, I thought by the current lot you might mean the current government who just put an extra third on my mortgage with Liz Truss' brain fart.
Mortgage? Oh, yes, I vaguely remember having one of those in the 1990s.
Oh dear.
Whoever is behind the bargepole character is a genius.
Lures you in with the superb charity gesture, then reverts to usual mode.
I’m shocked they don’t have a buy-to-let portfolio.
Ding dong! Landlord here!
Possible, Guess I just went route one by assuming he was an arsehole.
It was one of the poorer spoof accounts.
Rugby, Wasps being good for Wycombe , horrible politics etc.

Landlord as well.
You're nailing this!
You sound like a nice human
I am blocking mortgage free rightwing Spart baiter old bargey for mental health reasons.

I think @Wendoverman's fingers are more likely to be deep in a crisp bag!
Not sure saying ‘I’ve not had a mortgage for twenty years so I don’t care about those who do’ is rational debate.
Sounds a bit like Rishi Sunak!
Crikey, do you think it could be?
Looking for an interesting if challenging hobby, perhaps? Probably not available until after next season.
Better put the phone down before it makes me jump.
I think people are less concerned with a "rational debate" as they are chatting to a fellow fan who isn't so obviously a complete tit
Just imagine if it isn’t a spoof account. A real live caricature.

I can confirm that @bargepole is not a sock puppet.
Can you confirm he is not neither Steve Baker,Norman Tebbitt or Rees-Mogg.
Definitely a spoof.
No Tory would ever give to a foodbank @bargepole
Or Liz Truss.
