Kicking Chinos out of Football
Matt you maybe a Wanderers legend, but this has got to stop.
Chino's have no place at Adam's Park, even though they appear to be bone dry, the sight of them brings back the haunting memory of Wasps and Sharky Hayes.
Nice pair of Navy slacks, and light blue socks, are far more the order of the day.

He's dressed like a minimalist version of Gaz. Not my style, but I kind of rate it.
I see him as Dapper Dan on the other end of the sartorial spectrum to Grungey Gareth.
Couldn't really be dressed less like Gaz could he?
It's the tight trousers and boots
It would be funny though.
I wonder what the warmer months will bring? a gillet and polo shirt? a button down with a light jacket? I hope it's a coat and tie for the play off final.
Gareth's were about 5 times tighter, and he wore red cowboy boots. Plus open shirt and leather jacket!
Bloomfield's look is much more from the Essex gent collection.
Surely the biggest offenders in this pic are the fluorescent leg ties just above the knee on the person right of shot?
I'd say they are not chinos... you can get a pair of jeans in many colours these days you know
I think it's good. A bit Paul Tisdale minus the hats.
If he can help to produce performances and results like last night’s I don’t care if he wears a bright pink mankini!
Well that’s all round end of season fancy dress fixture sorted!
I don't understand this obsession with chinos.
I have a pair of smart dark blue ones, which I wear with a linen jacket for smart casual dress occasions, but I've never worn them to a rugby or football match.
I don't own a red or mustard coloured pair, and I don't know any other rugby supporters who would dream of wearing such attire to a match. When I used to go to Adams Park to support Wasps, and now to support WWFC, it's always black or dark blue jeans. And always dry, barring accidental spillages of drinks.
I'm sorry...but much as I loved the man and the footballing journey of the last decade, I often found myself tutting and shaking my head at Gareth's rock locks, leathers and boots, so the builder on a big night out look is fine by me.
Just enjoy your rent free accommodation in @ChasHarps' head. If you see an old fella wandering around in there that's because Jeremy Corbyn also lives there.

Corbyn was more of a canvas slacks man, like an off duty scout leader. Which is about the level of his leadership qualities.
The phrase chinos always reminds me of the uni years where it was either chinos or those daft looking trousers with massive pockets on them. Of the latter, I thought my pair of swamp green ones were amazing back then.
Or a bit Paul Tisdale plus the hair !
Useful if he rode a bicycle home from the match in the dark though !
If he/she was...then fair play.
Genuinely...it is ridiculous how many people make unnecessary car journeys
When Wycombe lift the Cup in 2024....this will overtake the current holder of 'greatest world football picture of alll time'
'Sanchez leaving the Selhurst Park pitch, satisfield, but with more work to do'
I always dared hope that if GA ever left, Blooms would be the next man up.
I always dared hope that if Blooms was the next man up, he would prove to be a talented manager.
I feel like I may be needing the next "dared hope" if we keep playing like we did last night!
Keep it together Shev. Will you be coming to Wembley is what I want to know?
Unfortunately no - I'll be at Fratton Park the last day of the season for the Portsmouth game, though. I'd love to meet any travelling Gasroomers who may be there!
Pompey will be 'who will we play decider'. Change your flights for Wembley mate!
I know two people at present spending all their money on Oxford and Cambridge blue paint for their ford cortinas
(very strange how paint people put a can in their machine and wink at you as if they have discovered gold)
Well done Mr paint
steady we don't need to see another set of pom poms
