Don't think many players had a great game out there today, I gave it to Campbell just for providing a spark of energy and a bit of flair when he came on, but he couldn't make that count in the final analysis,
The effort was very much there in the team, the quality less so.
Did the same
I’m abstaining.
I went Wing as he was still in the middle of everything, with some good passes.
McCleary for me. Was everywhere. By contrast Vokes won one header all day I think
It just feels wrong somehow voting for a man of a match that, apart from a few minutes at the start of the second half, was unbelievably scrappy. We were totally out-Wycombed.
Chem Campbell surely has to start next Saturday.
McCleary the closest thing to it imo
I went with McCleary as at least he showed for the ball throughout. I agree with @micra though that Campbell must play next week.
Sorry to hear that.
To be brutally honest I dont really think anyone of our players stood out.
Thought Willis gave a decent account of himself & Wing was ok, everyone else looked like they were off the pace after an emotionally tiring week, even Max wasn't his usual reliable self.
Campbell looked decent off the bench, the other subs were really too late to make an impression.
You know it was a bad day when Scowen gets no MOTM votes (so far)!!!
Willis had a good first half. Mccleary was solid enough. Campbell gets my vote.
I seem to be the only person who voted for Forino.
Says something when a 75th minute sub is winning the vote.
We'll be fine, onto next week.
But I do think Campbell needs to start next week
Wheeler for me, not that anyone had a great game.
I’ve gone for Wing. McCleary and Wheeler weren’t bad either but that’s about it.
Vokes and Scowen were both really poor. Didn’t see that coming.
Those were definitely the best of the bunch. I went for Wheeler.
Scowen on 0%. I didn’t think that was actually possible.
Possibly scowen's first ever 'bad' game for us? Maybe if he plays like that everytime he isn't managed by Ainsworth then can see why QPR and sunderland fans didn't rate him.
GMac. Just for his endeavours. No one else was close. Extraordinary game of sub par performances. Last two Saturdays every player 9/10. This Saturday 6/10 was probably man of the match.
Missing Gareth already!
I was feeling very down to be honest @Malone. Wasn’t at all happy with some of the Shrewsbury antics. After sleeping on it and a noisily nostalgic night of Elvis (shame on me!) at the Swan, I realise that McCleary put in one hell of a shift. Could’ve/should’ve gone for him. Ironically, Shrewsbury gave Scowen a hell of a clattering and I’m sure he must have been feeling pretty sore.
Otherwise, Wing oozed class again and Forino was on the end of many of Shrewsbury’s forward punts. No one heads the ball further than Forino !
