@railwaybeth told me that she had made a prediction Tuesday afternoon, partially at least I think to remind me to make my own. Without knowing what she had posted I said I would double her goals, wrongly thinking she would have predicted a 1 - 0 or a draw. She had in fact predicted 2 - 0 and hence my 4 - 0.
I actually thought I was in with a chance at half time!
When we actually watched the game together we were both cheering for a third goal. At the time it didn't feel really comfortable until the last 10 mins.

One of the marmitey things @ReturnToSenda and I have in common, even if we are more than half a century apart.
Apologies for derailment. I don’t think Tom makes score predictions so he won’t see this.
Shhhh….
I see everything...
Apart from live football matches.............
How many Wycombe games have you been to this season?
nil nil
Goodness gracious me
Oh very few Tom.
I am very much a virtual supporter these days.
I wouldn't want to watch that every week (actually I would but only if it was within an hour or so's drive)
I don't see everything!!
(Sorry just pulling your chain above)
I know - it was a fair point, I just spotted an open goal!
Wycombe 0 - 2 Oxford
let's say Wycombe 2 Oxford 0 ...Sooner or later the defence will have a match that is an unqualified success..
Wycombe 2 PNL 0
Wycombe 2-2 Oxford
Wycombe 4 - Oxford 0 please.
There is a story behind this which I will tell if I am anywhere close.
Close enough.... we dominated them and won comfortably.. so go ahead!
