STOP PRESS:
Aylesbury Vale Dynamos v Risborough Rangers is OFF due to water damage at the ground. What a shame as that would have attracted their largest crowd of the season.
Aylesbury Vale Dynamoes ground was built on a flood plain in Haywood's Road.
It seems to be under water most seasons.
Winslow United 2-1 Buckingham Athletic.
Winslow dominated the first half, with the wind and rain behind them, but the visiting keeper made some good saves to keep it goalless at the break.
Three minutes into the second half Winslow took the lead with a close-in header from a corner. They then missed a penalty, hitting the bar, but made it 2-0 soon after. Buckingham then took control, spending the last 20 in their opponents' half and pulled a goal back, five minutes from time, when the keeper failed to gather the ball in cleanly, allowing the striker to poke home.
A big crowd of 393 enjoyed the game, their previous highest attendance this season was 103. The referee was very good for this level, in total control, and the pitch held well up in the constant rain.
The first goal.

I am pleased to see that Holmer Green beat Thame United 3-1 to ease their relegation worries, I hope they stay up.
Real Bedford, the crypto club, are running away with it, just three points dropped. Amersham Town are on course for a play-off spot.
