For the first time ever I had to abstain. No-one deserves a vote for that dross.
Same here. Shocking.
Dreadful, utterly dreadful - Mawson & Stryjek were the only two who performed reasonably well today everyone else got my regular school report - "must try harder".
Like @Shev it is an abstention from me for the first time ever.
My first abstention too.
How do I vote for Sercombe?
Evidently by voting for Nick Freeman, as they are supposedly identical!
Might vote for Mellor as his one memorable contribution perfectly summed up today’s performance
Mellor. For no other reason that they were all not worth voting for and I like to drink Stella and that rhymes will Mellor.
Yup, my first ever abstention too, that was poor. When even GA, Mr Positivity himself, comes out with some pretty damning post-game comments then you know it was a dire game.
Mawson was Wycombe's best player by miles
Any votes for anyone else are surely wind-up attempts
Perhaps the mighty Mawson set the tone with that horribly short back pass to Max early doors? Got to say he was also guilty of some fairly poor long balls out of defence throughout the game - better on the too few occasions when he carried it forwards. Not sure anyone deserves the best player accolade today.
Can we have a 'none of the above' option?
Gutless and turgid.
Perhaps Mawson has faith in Max as a goalie !!
The Did not see has an abstain option
I’ve gone with Jordan Obita. Think he had a good game for his abilities today whereas Alford played below his…that backpass to Max…scary!!!
Alford is a new one!
Alfie! Auto correct…rubbish
Picking a man of the match after that is like picking a favourite root canal dental experience.
Big fan of @Shev's similes
I had an excellent root canal. After years of low level pain and then months of episodes of screaming agony, the superb dentist injected me 4 times and I was comfortably numb in minutes. As the needle went in he said “After these injections you will feel no more pain” Five years later and he’s still bang on.
If only he’d been talking about watching us.
Man of the match? There wasn’t one.
Only really Mawson can hold his head high from those that started.
That said, I voted Hanlan. It wasn’t until he came on that it looked like the aimless hoofball may have any sort of end product.
Although I’m now having flashbacks to Mawson’s dreadful back pass to Max.
Urgh. What an awful game.
Good point. We are actually in the screaming agony stage.
Hanlan for me. Certainly livened things up when he came on, just a shame no-one could make the most of his balls into the box. Everyone else just looked totally out of sorts after a decent start.
Taff had a decent game
i have now given up watching/listening/reading anything after half time.
Can I have a 45 minute option please @Shev (accepting that abstaining is an appropriate response to yesterday)?
Abstain for me. A woeful display one and all. A season low?
Which considering 4 out of 5 of the last games that is some statement.
I was there yesterday. Can’t bring myself to name Anyone
@TheAndyGrahamFanClub Thought the Walsall game was worse. At least we were decent for 20 minutes on Saturday.
@NewburyWanderer I completely agree. Walsall was utterly abject. I actually thought that Saturday, by comparison, was a pretty even scrap between well-matched, if ordinary teams. A nil-nil draw, in which one got a lucky deflection and the other got an unlucky deflection.
