So, ‘the Staffordshire knot’ above the badge: a prisoner was given a single rope and told, if it were possible to hang three people with just one rope they would be set free. Every day a school day on the Gasroom.
Just noticed Oxford are at home tonight too - always thought we couldn't play at home at the same time due to sharing stewards or did I simply imagine that?
Be interesting to see if Ainsworth freshens up the team and makes some changes. Would be good if one or two of the recently injured players are fit to come back. Clearly this is not a must win game but another poor result will not help the confidence going forward.

Why does Donald Trump's hair piece feature on their badge?

A must win... if for nothing other than keeping Robbie Williams quiet!
A nice 3-0? I'd take that.
Setting the bar-low?
I’d take a 1-0 win.
but that's not punny :)
Hopeful of a win tonight. We really need one.

I was told that. Maybe they can get away with it midweek given lower attendances?
I wonder what chance there is of a pitch inspection? The weather is nuts
It's barely rained! I'd be amazed if our pitch ever got waterlogged anyway.
Local forecast is dry from about 6pm through to midnight 👍
Great knowledge. What about the pretzel on top?
Blue skies now. The M40 was partially closed due to flooding. Climate change madness
Having now actually ventured outside, I take my first sentence back!

Heavy rain, another game crammed in, bleak outlook on the gasroom..
I can only see a win.
When was the last time there was an overwhelmingly bright outlook on the Gasroom?
3.45PM, Saturday June 30th.
1946!
….he was given his freedom and the knot inspired him to create the pretzel snack, allegedly!
I am going to try and reverse jinx the heck out of this one. Here goes...
You're welcome.

I would love to see Kaikai get a proper shout today. Maybe by resting Gmac but keeping him on the bench in case.
What does it represent, I understand the Staffordshire knot.
It kind of is a must-win game (sorry).
Looks like a scythe, although Port Vale has never struck me as a particularly agricultural area.
That 3hour period after winning at Wembley.
Before the "why ain't we gone signed anyone" gloom kicked in.
