I put somebody on ignore and half the Gasroom disappeared which made the remainder too much of a challenge to follow. So I cancelled the 'ignore'. I agree with those who suggest just moving on, rather than using this option except in extreme cases. The ignore option can result in something of an echo chamber of only seeing posters you like - and that can't be entirely healthy.
I use the ignore facility, and it just simply makes the gasroom a more pleasant experience. I certainly wouldn't say I agree with everything the rest say.
