Online club shop
Having popped down the ground to get my Oxford ticket, I noticed the club shop looked well stocked. However, when I went onto the online shop later, I was very disappointed by the lack of availability. The online shop seemed to just have kit and some training shirts and a few special items.
As anyone else noted this and is it a deliberate strategy?

I've noticed this. I have been thinking about getting one of the nice puffer-jacket/coats ready for the winter months and they are nowhere online! It is really disappointing
First game of the season against Burton, I went in to buy myself and my son the new kit. They were selling last seasons' kit for £1 cheaper!!
Why didn't they discount them heavily to get rid of stock?!
The online store does look a bit bare at the moment, bit there's always the stuff on The Terrace.
It all just seems to be a chance missed by not having your whole range on the on line shop.
Considering how big American sports teams go on merch, I am pretty surprised the Couhigs haven't increased our range more. I see you also can't get hold of any training kit beyond the shirts.
I do think something like a trailer shop in the town centre would be a good idea, even if only on certain days. The club's presence in High Wycombe itself is still really bad.
Nothing new there was the same in the late 90s .
I agree.
I don't know if we're much different to other clubs our size in terms of visibility in the town, but that doesn't mean we can't do more!
Because then everyone waits a year and buys at a massive discount
The club's "community" feel has been in decline for up to 10yrs and its seems as tho the club doesn't want to waste the time, effort and resources in trying to get the town excited again. It just seems as tho the main focus is on our assets (Stadium, Training Ground) and little/no focus on those that bring money into the club which is the fans!
It just seems to be a non starter profit wise unfortunately.
But surely the club could partner up with some kind of town centre store and at least have a corner with the gear in, and give a small percentage of the profit to that retailer for the space and their staff's time?
I'm thinking a WHS Smith or someone with a big store with loads of room right in the centre.
Have you been in WH Smith recently? It's like someone opened a newsagent in a mortuary.
Sounds like the perfect opportunity!
Throw in some wycombe merch next to some sugary products, and our fans will do the rest.
I certainly wouldn't wait a year to buy an old shirt. I don't imagine they would have all sold at £1 discount. Unless they are property of Oneills and it's not up to the club as such.
'Short-dated walnut whip with your club tie sir'?
'Warm capri-sun to match the summer vibes of your bucket hat'?
A win-win for everyone!
