@railwaysteve The above guess from @Commoner was actually posted at 1.32pm but got stuck in the spam filter. I can vouch that it's unchanged from then.
Thanks @drcongo I tried posting a few times! I think 5871 was my first guess and then I couldn’t remember what I did when it didn’t show hence the difference!
Very many congratulations to @Commoner, just two out with a fully certified prediction of 5871, with a time stamp of 13.32. [Thanks @drcongo for the confirmation that this was the original prediction]. That records the second best match attendance prediction of the season so far and sets a high benchmark. [@Glenactico missed forecasting the Accrington home game crowd by just one person.]
Many congratulations to @a40 for a single digit score, which indeed is the third best prediction of the season so far.
And the results for predicting the size of the Green Army,
Many congratulations on a superb spot on prediction by @BSE - 1200 predicted - 1200 the away crowd.
Everybody else overestimated and no-one was within a 100, although I did give it a good go. Very unusual for us to be closer with the total crowd than with a smaller away crowd.

Following tradition mentions for those with double digit scores, namely @NewburyWanderer, @Manboobs, myself, @bookertease, and @perfidious_albion.
A top 20 chart this week which includes everyone who was within 500.
An update for the season long competition and a thread for the Oxford game will follow.
