I’d been thinking that we could do with JJ’s presence in the side with Thompson and Scowen injured but I was thinking on the lines of defensive midfield in front of Mawson and Tafazolli. It’ll be a back four, I guess.
I find 'hit by injuries,' slightly hyperbolic. We've missed key players at key points this season which has cost us, but we've only got one starter out today, and we've managed to put out a team with the likes of Mawson and Sam Vokes in it. We're not that bad off.
It's a bit "Liverpool-esque" this talk about loads of injuries, when the truth is that we're still putting out lineups that are probably 90% of our best strength at any particular time.
