Sorry to be pedantic but ’People are allowed opinions’ is a comment that always baffles me because if I express an opinion about someone else’s opinion why does that not count?
Doubt it. They've got Mark McGuinness (ROI U21) and Will Vaulks (Wales) - Liam Palmer and Callum Paterson are both Scotland but haven't been called up for a while, I don't think.
If Kaikai and De Barr were fit, we'd probably be able to get it postponed.
Just watched GA interview on website and he claims the Fleetwood goal should have been disallowed for a foul and the corner that led to it was not a corner. He also gives some injury news!
My view is McCarthy will be more of a threat going forward, and I want to be on the front foot against Port Vale at home. I do think Grimmer is the better defender, but my ideal day is tonking Vale 7-0 in memory of Bill Turnbull!
Just watched the goal back and whilst it’s difficult to tell because there were so many players in the penalty area, it does look like a foul on Mawson.
We have watched that replay several times this evening in slow motion. Looks like a foul but also a chance that the striker slides in/slides to the ground and Allie Mawson trips over his legs, which I guess I’d why the ref gives the goal. We don’t have the depth perception on the tv.
Disappointing start to the season but I think we all know the squad is in excellent shape. Mehmeti is arguably one of the league's top five players. Vokes will be back in the coming weeks. Tafazolli and Mawson are two of the best centre halves I've ever seen at Wycombe - the latter has got through four consecutive games unscathed. Thompson, Hanlan, Kai Kai, Forino, Mellor, Young and co to return from injury/illness... We're nowhere near where we want to be, but we've got 39 games to go... Onwards and upwards - with stress on the upwards!

Crayons will do!
People are allowed opinions @glasshalffull even the greatest managers can be criticised by fans. It’s fine. And I’m sure the management won’t mind.

I've printed them out and run a highlighter over them.
This seems to be a philosophy that might have unintended consequences.
Let's say "2nd" for now, shall we.
Once big Sam is back we will have an excellent "spine" to the team.
Stryjek, Mawson and Taffs, Scowen and Gape, Vokes
And then add the arms and legs to this - Anis, Nick, Daryl, GMac, Jason, Jack etc.
This combination excites me and I really believe that we are a rocket ready for take-off.
Just as a side note, along with Mehmeti, I believe Forino will go on to play at a higher level and I didn't even include him in the current "spine".
Please can we never call him big Sam again. That's an insult to Vokesy!
We’ve had some great centre back pairings over the years but none as good as Mawson and Tafazolli.
Oh, sorry.
Great effort from everyone. McCleary cost us the game today, but he’s won us games before.
I’m glad the window closed before Mehmeti had the chance to show everyone he can play as a central striker too.
I don't think any of us want the image of Sam Allardyce playing up front for Wycombe lol
Why drop Grimmer? I don’t get it!!
One of my mates calls his willy Big Sam

I'd of been happy with a point before kick off and I'm happy now. Who knows what would of happened 11 v 11?...
We haven't had our strongest 11 available at all this season, to be 4 points and no where near hitting form bodes well.
Going forward I would like to see Horgan come in for Wing. Onwards and upwards
@ReturnToSenda is there a chance Wednesday away could be called off for internationals?

Good enough..booking cheap train tickets cheers
Not sure I can deal with the pressure now...
They are drinking the usual Nectar of Delusion, I see. @Jonny_King about covers it in his first response.

Ex player scoring while away contingent applaud recently lost club legend - still on the train home - spent
Interesting to hear a Fleetwood fan picked up on the highlights effects mic shouting “that’s a booking” as the ref comes out with the red...
My whole household relies on your information @ReturnToSenda 😉

Overall can we all agree that was a good point taken from playing with ten men for such a long period?
Garath, what were you doing?
Didn’t really understand why Horgan didn’t come on at some stage, he’s been playing really well of late.
Not Nick Freeman’s best game, too many times where the pass was misplaced or he failed to ride a tackle and lost possession.
Great to have Mawson and Taff together at Centre Back. That combo plus Scowen, Gape, Mehmeti and Vokes will win a lot of games for us.
I really like Wing and his shooting from distance was useful with only ten men.
Anis is playing out of his skin at the moment. A real Wycombe star Is developing in front of us, how lucky we are to see that.
