I remember going to the first game, following the opening of the Frank Adams stand in 1996. It was noticeable how much of the old Adam’s Park atmosphere was sucked out by that stand. I still miss the atmosphere on the old Woodlands Terrace.
Never because they'll want a full view of the dug out & Subs coming on/off. Until we do a Luton and get the players to walk across the pitch every game
Vicarage Road is exactly like AP: camera position opposite the dugouts but press area on the same side. Turf Moor camera position is opposite too. You do see it.
There isn’t just one camera position, though. The main cameras are on the gantry but there are also cameras on the 18 yard line and at least one handheld, mobile camera.
Was going to say this may be different depending on what division we are in based on how many cameras are used for the live capture and then highlights, a lot was made of us going from one camera to four when we got to the championship. Can't honestly remember from the last few games or last season if we've reverted and if the other cameras are just for packages for the website and extra pieces.
We have gone back to only having one at Adams Park. More were installed in our Championship season to aid and support the Hawkeye system however as that isn't being supported / introduced into League 1 or 2, they have been removed

That is not the point though. Most people are highlighting that tickets in the AP have been sold already prior to the decision to close it.

If you look back through the Match of the Day's & Sky coverage, they always show the game with the dugouts at the top of the pitch & facing the camera
Sorry, totally misread what you said
But I'd most grounds have the camera facing away from the dugouts?
Only 6/20 in the Prem where the camera faces the dugouts:
Bournemouth, Everton, Leicester, Palace, Southampton, Villa

I was just making the point that at most grounds, the main camera isn't trained on the dugout

I was referring to live televised games as that was the original point being made about showing the stadium in its best light.
