Amazing. Literally less than an hour ago a google pop-up or some other other notification on that subject caught my eye and I wanted to mention it somewhere but wasn’t sure where. He has had a couple of injuries recently and at 46 I can understand Kent/Darren himself thinking the time had come to ease out of major County Cricket.
Don’t know where he lives but wouldn’t it be interesting if he wound up playing for Buckinghamshire or one of the other Home Counties clubs. He clearly believes there is more in the tank!
Former record holder of fastest T20I century Richard Levi has been playing for Chesham all season. His record was 45 balls in 2012 against New Zealand.
@Otter87, I saw him play last Saturday for Tring Park, scored 15 in a very comfortable win against Great Brickhill. Tring are still bottom of Home Counties Division 2.

At County level, Darren Stevens is/has been a phenomenon; world class, no.
@micra Darren Stevens leaving Kent at the end of the season after 17 years at the club.
