Good signing, he could turn out to be a cracker if not nothing lost. These are the players we should be signing a mix of experienced and youth in the team. The same people being negative will be screaming in 6 months to sign him on a longer contract before he leaves to some big club at the end of the season for nothing.
At this level and for the money we have, it is impossible to sign known options that are not out of contract and/or in there 30s. Vokes is the perfect example of this.
D’Mani could end up being The Player! He could also end up being another with potential that didn’t quite get there.
Given that a number of our squad were relatively un-known when they arrived or first played for us, then I cannot believe the reaction of one or two on here.
Forino, Mehmeti, Thompson, McCarthy, Gape, Hanlan, Freeman have all arrived and had not really set the world alight.
Add to that the likes of Eze, Mawson, Knight, Yennaris and I think it’s pretty obvious we’ve got an eye for some seriously good talent which needs some support and nurturing to come good.
Vokes was a 'barn find'. He was lost. His value had plummeted. He had fallen out of favour with management and fans at Stoke. I'm pretty sure his lot was not a happy one. He just needed someone to believe in him and we did just that, it could have been an expensive f up. It certainly wasn't. Stockdale was similar I guess but less of a financial risk as he took a massive hit on his wages to come here as number 2.
They are out there. But I'm not sure they are that prevalent. And they usually present more risk than a D'Mani in terms of finances.
Yeah if he'd stayed one more season at Lincoln he'd've been part of their Europa Conference League campaign last season. Not to say he didn't play a part in their run - he scored a brace and assisted 2 more in their 5-0 win over Fola Esch of Luxembourg in the Champions League last year.

How long is his contract? Or is it a secret?
I heard it ran to several sides of A4
He was training with the side at the back end of last season. A perfect ‘try before you sign’ scenario. We haven’t just plucked him out of thin air...

How many others have played European football before playing for Wycombe?
Off the top of my head I can think of Guppy, Vokes, Stockdale, Duberry, Sinclair, Rob Lee, Lennon, Rab Douglas. There must be more.
Ray Wilkins and Danny Wallace.I would have thought.
Did Trevor Aylott ever move far enough to play European football?
Paul Smyth if we're counting qualifiers, and possibly Horgan. Totally forgot Burnley were in the Europa League one season!
De Barr but also possibly only qualifiers
Certainly not Guppy, when his first signed for the Wanderers.
But he had before he signed the second time.
Neil Lennon?
Guy Whittingham?
Gary Ablett?
Paul Lambert won it if you're counting managers.
Paul Lambert played in Europe? He never mentioned it.
Cyril Regis played and scored in club European competition
Ray Wilkins?
John Robertson. He played a couple of minutes in a B&B game.
If you're including managers you'd have to add O'Neill and Tony Adams
Rab Douglas played in Europe for Celtic.
D’Mani will be wearing number 21 for the upcoming season.
Absolutely spot on @Commoner. You are the perfect antidote to the likes of @Wanderers82.
