While it's great that we might have a young, promising keeper coming to us, I still feel slightly disappointed that its a loan signing. I'd love it if we could sign him on a long-term contract and keep him here. Maybe even offer a "buy-back" option in the transfer to Man Utd so if they need him, they can re-sign him (with a nice profit coming our way too!)
Never having got to grips with chess, I don’t understand the “good with crosses” comment. Diagonal movement I’m guessing relates to the only way a bishop can be moved.
I'm guessing if it's in the Manchester Evening News that it's pretty much a done deal. Very good signing if we do manage to get it over the line. With it being Manchester United the chances of him being recalled are slim to none.

He looks a bit old...even for League One
Had a great season at Mansfield last year and should do well in Lge1.
Described by an ex team mate at Mansfield as the best professional he’d ever seen in his 10 year career.
Love that! Worked with Lee Harrison at Southend too. Buzzing (assuming we get it over the line 🤞).

Let's all not get too excited... he hasn't signed yet !

”Bishop hasn't signed yet, but there is
a loan agreement between
Manchester United and Wycombe
Wanderers, where Nathan knows the
GK coach well. A number of other EFL
clubs enquired about him. Still a
chance he goes on United's
preseason, esp if they haven't signed
a keeper by then”
Not a new no1 but it does seem that we may be signing a new goaleeper* from the Eastleigh Elite Academy.
* if it’s good enough for a BFP main headline, it’s good enough for me. Quite descriptive really.
I'm excited for this signing albeit slightly concerned he'll be restircted to diagonal movements across his box.
Good with crosses, though

@micra Bishop …. Church ….. sign of the cross ??? I guess!
Absolutely @perfidious_albion . Shows how out of touch I am with ecclesiastical matters.
I'm taking this as confirmation 😂 https://twitter.com/Harry12971/status/1541321989004169216?t=L60vfVNSrosCqIjm_tR28Q&s=19
My mind’s gone blank.
Probably a brain fart!

Mansfield supporter mate tells me that when he first joined he was really vocal organising his defence but as the season wore on that seemed to stop.
Seems Bishop became an ex-communicator.
Superb.
🤦♂️
Beg pardon @Otter87.
@micra Based on the joke above, the emoji was my actual response to reading the joke
Hard to see emojis on iPhone with my eyes 👀 @Otter87 but after enlarging it as much as possible I could only interpret it as a look of disbelief!
