Maybe Luton are going to tear up Danny Hylton*s contract and him and Bayo are going to form an unlikely strike force that shoots us into the Premier League!!!
Maybe there will be a virtual 'Rip Up Your ST' app developed, with enough demand.
'Choose your favourite celeb and see them rip up your ticket in a virtual environment!'
Of course, Sunderland fans will need a 'Tape Your ST Back Together And Walk Away Whistling As If You Never Bailed On Your Club' app for when they finally get out of the third tier.
My initial feeling is that McCleary is clearly an extremely good player with Championship experience, but it's a shame he plays in a position where we already have strength in depth.
Do we have that much depth with wingers though? Wheeler won't be used as much there this season and Kashket is really a striker, so that leaves Horgan and Fred - assuming Parker isn't going to get a look-in. We haven't really played with wingers in the last couple of games, but there will be plenty of times when we do still.
Certainly more so than central midfield. I don't know much about his history so I wonder if he has ever played in a central role? The twitter announcement does call him an 'attacking player' rather than a winger.

Wouldn't surprise me, Gareth does love versatility

Can you imagine him fitting in with our humble, hard working group?
Jesus Ainsworth already has 11 disciples on the pitch. Wilshire could be his Judas.

Hylton on the bench tonight against Forest but didn’t come on....loan deal maybe???.
I wouldn’t even be able to rip up my season ticket if DDH did join. Stuff of nightmares
It's depressing enough in Covid-19 days without the thought of DDH donning the quarters. shudder
You can print off the downloadable pdf and rip it up as many times as you like.
I'd shove mine up DDH's arse.

Talking of which, after their Wembley disappointment, Oxford finally make it to the 2nd tier. https://mobile.twitter.com/TheOxfordMail/status/1321821592788242433
Where's this bloody signing then!???
Could this be it?
Is this a mistake? Can't see it on twitter or other channels
Not sure, but a great spot by Paul either way.
Maybe Gareth's meds have kicked in or the contract ink hasn't dried yet, the video has been removed.
Isn't this trailing the pre game tomorrow?
Sounds like someone pressed the wrong button somewhere but might be an indicator something is imminent
It just tells me the video is unavailable which is bloody annoying.
10am today
Garath McLeary
Garath McCleary
Can he play left-back?
Did I hear at some point that Taffazoli can? I'd guess Grimmer might be next if needed, McCarthy was a bit of a disaster at LB
I think Grimmer would be fine there on the odd occasion - or even David Wheeler.
