Old timers dropping down the leagues
I am quite nostalgic for the times when a player past his best decided to drop down the leagues (mainly due to needing to financially I guess). Players like Garner and Regis were a great thrill for us and Rob Lee also was a treat to have on board. Sadly as players are so grossly rewarded these days they just decide that a trip to Wycombe v Accrington is beneath them. Still nice to see Damien Duff signing for an Irish team as he gets to the end of his playing days -
