It is a lovely nod to the town’s slightly less illustrious rivals that they have placed the badge on a field of both tones of blue. Aside from that, it really is pretty guff.
Was going to go today with my 8 year old, but only 100 seats being made available for away fans (none left now) seems short-sighted. Can't take him on the terrace as he won't be able to see anything so we won't go. Seems a bit unecessary to me not to put us in the stand behind the goal, and I'd imagine it's incovenient for others too.
Yep, fair enough. We've had some not great experiences standing before so I'll wait until he's a bit bigger. I'd still be surprised if we didn't have more than 100 fans for whom standing for 90 minutes is a challenge though.
It is low but to be fair Cambridge are using what seating capacity they have pretty effectively this season for their own supporters and their attendances are impressive for a place of similar size to HW with similar problem of a relatively high number of residents who have moved into the town and its environs fairly recently and hence still have football loyalties to other clubs.
Udoh to stat centrally with some pace around him? Berry or Lowry maybe? Would be good to see a bit more from Fred too, there's opportunities and need for people other than the King to grab at least another 5-10 goals this season and fire us up.

The laziest badge in football, fair play, thought they were changing that.

Thankfully, Northampton have gone for a more elaborate and traditional club crest design.
Otherwise, they'd just be giving Posh fans a free hit.
It was designed at a time Northampton Town were rumoured to be using the same format

I’m taking my six year old who is looking forward to the novelty of standing up. Kids to the front so they can see better.
He’s stood up at football before. Not going to tell you what to do with your own kid but I never think standing is too much of an issue.

Hope you and your boy enjoy it!
Thank you. Yes agree 100 is a bit low. We have a fair number of elderly fans who are unable to stand for 90 minutes too.

I'm hearing Kone (knee) is out today
Not good. Not helped by that goon clattering him I dare say.
You'd hope it's just a sore one after that. He certainly didn't play like someone who'd done their ACL.
He trained on Thursday so if injured it’s surely not related to Tuesday.
Will see what they say at 2. Will the club get the injury news tweet out before the drones start frothing at the mouth when he's not on the teamsheet?

I'd hope to see Berry on the bench at least
Hope it’s not the same knee ‘issue’ as Sean Devine had… (allegedly…)
I've already got
"Obviously being sold" on copy ready to paste in at 2.01
Both things could be true...
Lubala and Udoh is certainly enough to tidy us over.
I forgot Vokes is still a player too.
But even with hanlan going we still have 10players across those front 3 positions, with only Sadlier actually Injured.
Well done for anyone going today. In my day you needed an entrance exam and a bung from a posh family member!
Really don’t know why Richard Kone would post this at 10am today if he wasn’t playing!
'[something blaming Dan Rice]'
For goodness sake people please stop sniping at each other!
Also the association of those letters with the unmentionables to the southeast is disturbing
Unless of course he’s picked up a knee injury falling down the stairs at the hotel this morning!
I don't think Kone would move in those circles
Cambridge City are a good one for the list of clubs who play in colours not on their badge (I've also got Northwich Victoria)
True, his movement is a lot better than going round in circles
At this point just hoping it's our team hotel he's at
