That team was ridiculous. Had 4 England internationals in midfield. Glen Johnson in defence. Di Canio, Defoe. At one point they were playing Ian Pearce up front.
Had to get the Reds in there somewhere. Actually Psycho was injured for a lot of that season and but Teddy Sheringham being sold and then Sir Brian not wanting to pay the money for Collymore...
And Des Walker sold with not much coming in. I remember it as I was at school at the time and one of our teachers was unlucky enough to be a forest fan.
That West Ham side was on paper much better than on grass. Lots very early or very late in their careers and I think still record points to go down. The late Glenn Roeders managerial CV wasn't much better than Rooney's despite apparently being a very good player and coach.

They are no better than the West ham side who went down with all the England kids, Di Canio, Defoe and others.

Forest going down with Nigel Clough, Stuart Pearce, Roy Keane and the majority of the team that got back up the next season.
Rosario and others up front, not sure they qualify. 3 very good players there but some dross around them and a manager in decline.
