The atmosphere around the Reebok isn’t positive at the moment blue and following Sharon’s implicit vote of confidence yesterday has only exasperated fans even more. A number have definitely shelved plans to travel tonight but we should still have a good following nevertheless. We need a win tonight to peg you back because a loss and 16 points difference virtually rules the autos out. Even a draw keeps us in with a shout so nothing less will do. Whether our lot can regain their pride tonight after Saturday is the question but if they can you’ll definitely have a game on your hands. I actually think they will. 🤗
Can’t argue with that. Apart from Scowen for Bakinson if he is deemed fit. Or possibly substitution of Bakinson for Scowen on the hour if circumstances permit.
I could see us pushing 8,000 tonight. Christmas, a lot of people already off, decent away crowd (I can't imagine their 'boycott' will be very noticeable), and generally a massive game.

First home game for me since Birmingham, first game since Lincoln. Very excited to get down there tonight!

The general consensus among a lot of the Bolton fans seems to be they are boycotting the game due to Evatt still being at the helm.
Should we go 1-0 up early on the boo boys will be out in force.
We are missing some key players but Bolton seem to be missing the whole back line and some key midfielders.
Home ticket sales going extremely well according to the club so hoping for 5000+ in the home areas.
Looking forward to this one!
Probably a good Idea to spend a bit of time with football before going back to killer beds and IQ tests, the REAL meat and drink of the gasroom

Yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir!

I'm in lanzarote atm. Will I be able to buy a match pass?
Boycotting a game on a Friday night in the freezing cold 200miles away doesn't seem much of a statement.
More like a lucky excuse!
You should be able to. I think only FA Cup games are unavailable abroad.
One of if not the worst day to travel on the roads
COYB!!!
Thank you @drcongo
Their forum expects their team to get ecky thumped tonight, to use a local term.

And with Christmas to pay for on top it’s really no surprise.
I am having dinner tonight, mater, as I shall be having a burger at the game. Perfidious, earlier today.
According to the WWFC website this will be The biggest turnout of Wycombe fans for an evening kick-off in the league since 2005.
Anyone know what game that was in 2005?
From recent memory I think we had over 5,000 home fans v Ipswich a couple of years ago for a midweek game so we'll do well to beat that.
Just had a look and we had Leyton Orient at home 4 days after Christmas that year, a Thursday. Maybe that one?

No chance. We only got 8000 for the Plymouth home game at the end of the 2021-22 season, which was on a gloriously sunny Good Friday
I'm sure someone said we'd already passed 5,000 home sales? 8,000 maybe a bit of an overestimate, but we've got to be pushing 7
We got over 7k against Northampton on a Friday night, 15 or so years ago
25th March 2005
Wish I knew this before setting off! Feels like every motorway is 40 50 or 60mph.
Heading to bicester village now and then hopefully get the ground for around 6.30ish.
Bicester Village 5 days before Christmas - you're a brave man!
7417 for that Northampton game.
Should be over 1000 empty seats in the away end which would mean the home areas would have to be all but sold out.
I'm surprised Bolton travel in such small numbers, I'd argue they're the biggest club in the league
Closer to 6.5 than 8 I reckon. Bolton to bring 800-1200. This close to Christmas lots of people will be travelling to see family, out at the pub etc.
