It’s remarkable how frequently “definitely” (predictive text just offered me “definitively”!) is written as defiantly. But, in deference to our recently joined and very welcome fellow Gasroomer, he/she may well have fallen victim to the fell clutches of an over anxious predictive gremlin. Also, Kenny could definitely be defiant on occasion.
I think there may be a lot, with how many Leicester, Forest and Ipswich second tier players would have still been on their teams when they won the top flight.

Ted Drake and Bob Paisley must be two of them?
Edit - actually no, don't think Drake's managerial title was with Arsenal.
All must be quite a while ago.
Dalgleish and George Graham spring to mind.
Struggling with rest.
Got the other 2, I think...
Howard Kendall
Bill Nicholson
Kenny Dalglish is defiantly one (player/manager 85-86)
That really was quick!
Dalglish, Graham, Kendall, Nicholson, Paisley

Yes you are correct stupid predictive text. I'm also rubbish at spelling.
Dalglish the only one to win it as a manager before and after the start of the PL
I believe there are only three who have won it with more than one club
Uhhhh, Dalglish (Liverpool and Blackburn), Tom Watson (Liverpool and Sunderland) +1
Herbert Chapman (Huddersfield and Arsenal)
Hang on, Brian Clough (Derby and Forest) - so it's at least 4
Another interesting one - idk the definitive number - is players who won the second tier and top flight with the same club
I believed wrong.....
Ok number of different nationalities that have won it since the last Englishman?
Wild guess - 9
Which was Howard Wilkinson in 92...
Scottish x2
French
Portuguese
Italian x4
Spanish
German
The 'x' being the number of managers rather than the number of titles!
And Chilean!
Still missing one

Chile is right and last one - posted at same time
Sorry Manuel!
John McGovern did it but with Derby not Forest.
Andy King won each of the top 3 tiers with Leicester.
I believe it was their first ever season in the top flight, too.
And if you want to take it outside England, Andreas Brehme won the second and first tiers back-to-back with Kaiserslautern.
My bad - I think they finished 2nd in the 70s/80s when they won the UEFA Cup? I overlooked the 60s...
Yes it was Ramsey - to be fair it only sticks in my mind because my dad often talks about how random it felt when they won it.
I see Burnley on there. I think they're one of the clubs to win titles in each of the top 4 divisions.
I think he won it as a player with Spurs
Gordon Strachan did it as captain
