  • Jasper was great

  • Leahy for me, Clive

  • Yes indeed, I agree with Vital.

Jasper really excelled and had a great game. Looked so at home at RB.

  • I went for Fred, as he put them under a lot of pressure throughout and also got his goal.

  • Pattenden but Udoh looked too good to not start.

  • Who made the real differnce to the game? Who played up & showed they are the man for their position?

For me it has to be Jasper this week.

Having said that, this week was one of the best performances I have seen from Leahy for some time.

  • Tough call today. I’m going with Fred purely because I think he’s added the only thing that was previously weak about his game - fight/grit/determination in scrappy games.

Jasper, Rav and Leahy very unfortunate to not get my vote.

  • Jasper. Pretty much faultless both in defence and attack. That first goal wouldn't have happened without his work.

  • Although Rav had a brilliant game both at centre back and in goal.

  • Jasper has been improving steadily this season. Today was his best performance, virtually faultless (and I say virtually only because I might have missed a minor slip at some point).

I thought Jasper & Low were excellent, but if we’re being honest, Shrewsbury offered little in attack.

Fred was a constant threat, whilst others struggled to get into the game when going forward until late on. He got my vote.

  • They were extremely physical all over the pitch. Jasper coped well with that. He may be short in stature but he has Scowen-like qualities, including - I noticed today - a remarkable ability to win headers. His close control and ability to pick a pass are also first class.

I am a great admirer of Jack Grimmer and I said at the time what a great decision it was to make him club captain. My favourite player Co-commentator as well. But I think Jasper is probably the more accomplished right back at present.

  • Jasper was great, so was Leahy with two assists. Humphrey decent too.

Going to have to sleep on this one and watch the extended highlights

  • There wasn't a bad performance from any of the starters or subs. But for me, Pattenden edged it, just ahead of Leahy and Fred.

  • Surprised Morley hasn’t got a mention today. He was everywhere breaking up play and he has that great ability to pick a pass even when under pressure.

  • He got my vote, the backbone of the team. Amazing player.

  • Morley is absolutely key to this team. First name on the team sheet for me. You can replace most players like for like but there aren't many around that have his skill set. Fundamental to the way we play. Huge talent and we need to do whatever it takes to sign him.

  • Pattenden was outstanding today ...get it for me . Fred very good 2nd half and both CBs were dominant

  • Pattenden was excellent but Fred wasn’t playable at times. Their poor left back must be having nightmares tonight he was shredded.
