  • Following exclusively through gasroom comments is not a fun way to do it. COYB

  • Joe Low wearing someone else's boots today. Possibly Bodger's.

  • Campbell falls over more than a toddler

  • Can we just call this one now and take the point each? Farcical to watch.

  • I'll take a point and a cup of tea now

  • Happy with a point given the circumstances. I can't remember a game so affected by the weather.

  • Unbeaten run and scoring run both continue.

  • *affected by the weather and a team of cheating pricks

  • I thought that second half was cracking entertainment.

  • Is this the first time ever that they've coned off Hillbottom Rd to hold the traffic up? About bloody time.

  • That was very entertaining!! Fair result in the end.

  • Fantastic second-half performance for the most part, marred by some really poor individual performances that lost us a lot of momentum.

Apart from his great contribution for the goal, Jack Grimmer was just too slow going forward, and hit a couple of truly rubbish passes that killed promising moves.

Joe Low had a shocker, inviting so much pressure after giving the ball away so frequently.

  • Ridiculous conditions aside, that feels like two points dropped after having so much pressure in the first 30 mins of the second half, but nothing to show for it. Sam Smith really is a cheating scumbag, isn't he? Delighted that we've never signed him.

  • Going into that game at the top of the table, it was really disappointing for us not to try and keep the ball in the first half. Kicking it like it was a WMD for 45 mins.

Much more purposeful in the 2nd half, and we should've scored more.

Both CBs had poor games. Grimmer struggled to pass. Fred played like he had bricks in his boots, and Ravizolli clearly doesn't instill confidence in anyone.

  • Just seen their goal again. Worse. Joe Low our most consistent defender had a very off day.

    oh well. Never too high

  • I don't think we can scrutinise that one too much, weather made it impossible to play properly. Here's hoping for slightly calmer conditions at Shrewsbury...

Some pressure on our game at Shrewsbury now imo. Two draws in a week is no issue - especially when the unbeaten run is intact - but if we can't win that one when the others are catching up, we'll be dragged back into the play offs mix fairly quickly.

Great game from two teams that were definitely up for it in dreadful conditions. A game which I think we probably had the better chances and probably shaded overall. Just needed that second goal when we were in the ascendancy second half. Given the conditions harsh to be critical of any of the boys out in the pitch. COYB

  • We just need to hold the fort till Scowen and Sadlier are both back.

  • While some of them didn’t have their best game, those were truly horrific conditions to play in.

  • No chance of the club letting us fans know that they were going to hold all the cars back ? Bloody fuming as I was right at the front of the queue having left early to be home for a prearranged event?😡

  • I don't think anyone who wasn't actually there can comprehend quite how bad the conditions were. Harsh to slag any of them off too badly today.

  • I had to walk the dogs in it earlier and it was horrific.

  • I don’t think they were planning to until an accident gave them no choice.

That was a rather frustrating afternoon but our second half display was really encouraging and some individual performances were a real joy to watch.

Aaron Morley and Cameron Humphreys really are special players. Their first touch, control, technique, ability to see and play a pass, it’s just wonderful.

We’ve been really tested by our opponents in our last two matches and responded really well, with only a winning goal missing.

We’d have had it today too had it not been for Joel Pereira, whose fingertip save to deny Garath McCleary was out of this world. One of the best saves I’ve ever seen at Adams Park.

I was also very impressed with Tyler Bindon (24). I’d love it if we could nick him off them in January and make up for them nicking a point off us today.

  • Disappointing result, but shows how far we've come to think we can be disappointed drawing against a team who had a long spell in the championship and are still in the playoff positions even with all their drama going on.

Weather not quite farcical but well up the scale with long clearances being caught in the wind and hanging,

Our goal was absolute quality, shame their goal was a mistake from the usually impeccable Low.

The result looks worse with everyone in the top 5 behind us winning, but on we go.

Shrewsbury got smashed today, so need to make sure we pile more gloom on them before wishing Gaz well on the recovery.

  • Point was fair...first half our first choice back five looked like they had never played together so equaliser was farcical. We were much better second half and could/should have nicked it but it would have been harsh on Reading.
