  • 6,517 including 348 away

  • 6,030 with 280 away

  • 33 predictions on record and so gentle reminders for @Forest_Blue, @micra! @Onlooker and @thecatwwfc.

    So far we say:

Average for the Total Crowd: 6065

    Average for Away Crowd: 287

Anyone still to predict - and all are welcome - please be warned that my own prediction is close to those average figures and I have a very poor record of being close this season.

  • 5900 with 250 away fans

  • 5,850 (350 away)

  • 6,000 including 275 supporting Wycombe.

  • 6115 with 335

  • 5,073 (335) given on Exeter twitter

  • Seemed to be a lot more than that in the ground.

did not feel like 3600 more people could have got in that ground!

  • Top Twenty for the Total Crowd: [5073]

Many congratulations to @LDF, Forecaster of the Week, with a bold prediction - one of only two underestimates. Nobody at all was within one hundred.

Top Twentfy for the fantastic away support: [335]

Many congratulations indeed to @thecatwwfc who was absolutely spot on with the number of stalwart supporters. It doesn't happen often that somebody is exactly correct.

Many congratulations to @Mandown who was only out by one person.

    Congratulations to @Commoner; @our_frank; @MFH_Blue; @wwfcblue and @Onlooker all of whom were within 5% - [16]

Top Twenty for the Home Crowd: [Calculated as 4738]

Many congratulations again to @LDF closest and on this measure almost but not quite ,within touching distance. Again there was nobody with one huncred of the published figure.

As a matter of note - the 38 total predictions for a game is a modern Gasroom record for our attendance prediction thread.

  • I get that even as table-toppers we’re not a huge draw, and didn’t take an especially large following, but that crowd is way down on their usual numbers. Funny old game!

  • This season they are averaging about the same average attendance at home as they did last season. After 9 home games including Tuesday night it’s only 1 out.

Last season they had two Tuesday night games in winter against Shrewsbury and Peterborough that started with a 52**.

I guessed 5444 thinking we might draw in a few extra bums on seats but had initially written 5250 before upping my guess.

Interestingly many at the ground felt the physical attendance was way below 5000 with many watching on TV who had season tickets.

Exeter have a superb thread about attendances on Exeter City Web.
