  • Unsurprisingly, the "meh" was before we scored our winner!

  • Went for Taylor. Solid at the back.

  • Harvie impressed again, lots of others ok but not quite at best. Good team result.

  • Went Jasper in the end, Harvie a close second.

    Thought Mansfield were pretty good.

  • No real stand outs for me, so Leahy for the perfectly placed shot into the top corner.

  • I wonder if Baccus will be celebrating tonight.

  • No one really stood out from a fairly average performance again our back 5 were solid if unspectacular, though the 2 full backs probably edged it on a fairly nothing night performance wise. Opted for Harvie over Pattenden in a reversal of Saturday.

  • Taylor, Low or Harvie. I went with Taylor because he was totally imperious throughout against a very well-drilled rigorous test.

  • Leahy, for the fluke goal. I thought generally we were under par tonight, but credit to Mansfield for making us look under par.

  • Great comment - there always has to be credit where credit is due. We have had enough opposition fans act as though a good performance from us was more about them playing badly!

  • No-one massively stood out but I'm going Jasper tonight. Thought he put in a shift and defended and attacked well.

  • Think I'd have gone for Leahy even without the goal. Thought he had a very decent game especially 1st half.

  • Low, Taylor, Harvie, that order, so went Low, he was solid tonight. Mansfield were decent and physical, so it was a defender's night rather than a forwards.

  • Low had a good game.

Mansfield had a good press and we struggled to play through it. His passes from the backline into midfield were really intelligent and often found a player in space when it seemed everyone was marked.

  • Gave it to Leahy simply for the goal. Everybody worked hard and did their jobs without really achieving much so good result!

  • The attritional match I’d anticipated. Big, strong and aggressive in yer face opposition. One of our poorest performances (possibly the poorest) of the season but credit to Mansfield for making it almost impossible to play our normal game.

Fluke or not, that goal at the death ensured the continuation of our record breaking winning run and changed the mood in an instant so Leahy gets my vote.

  • Pattenden for me, though Leahy close second. JP has come on from strength to strength.

  • Interesting, I thought it was a tough night for Jasper last night. Although you could also argue that Mansfield targeted him and put him under a lot of pressure and he came through that test.

I've given it to Cam Humphreys who I thought produced the moments of real quality with his touch and vision but there was no standout star last night

  • Humphreys for me. He goes a bit under the radar at times. But I took 15 minutes or so just watching him during a very tight second half, his touch, movement, quality of pass and pressing are superb. A joy to watch

  • The lack of irony on the League 1 facebook page is a joy to behold with a number of Birmingham fans posting that ‘no one is talking about Wycombe’ without realising that that is exactly what they are doing!

  • Humphreys is a superb footballer. He has a knack of receiving the ball surrounded by 3 defenders, and being free of them after just 2-3 touches of the ball. He has a massive career ahead of him.

  • I much prefer the scenario where ‘no one is talking about Wycombe.’ Don’t broadcast our games, don’t approach our manager, don’t hype up our players. We’ll see you for the open top bus parade in May.

No one stood out. Of course the goal counts for everything but actually center mid was our weak point and Luke can’t get my vote as a result.

  • Until the goal I was giving it to Humphries, who was, with Morley, very good in the middle of the field and trying to create something...but it was marginal, as no-one really had a shocker despite the game being very League One. Luke just pipped it for the goal and the team reaction.

  • Went with Kone. He had a really hard night against three centre halves who were very physical and intent on smothering him. But regardless his touch and hold up play was very good and he kept losing his marker to get a yard of space. He is a goal scorer for sure but the more you watch him the more you see the rest of his game grow.

  • Is this the most split MOTM vote in Gasroom history?

  • Not sure if that is says more about Birmingham City supporters or football fans in general.

  • Don’t think so. A couple of weeks ago (?) every player but two or three got votes.

  • Whoops! Silly me. Should always check the latest data before making rash comments.

I think you could well be right @WanderingDays.
