Are you referring to the Giford Motor Company, where what became Broom Wade was?
Before that the site was the Wycombe Aircraft Constructors. I only know about them from my deeds (Lovely old ribbon bound hand written things from when the Marquis of Lincolnshire signed over the land) which have the Aircraft Constructors listed which made me look up what else had been on the land.
The Australian version (which sounds like every sentence is a question) is a bit different to the recent American version which just sounds like the speaker is really pleased with themselves.
High rising terminal also occurs in non-English languages, such as in Arabic
Only when the conversation gets heated and they start firing AK47s into the air.

I was in a meeting early on in the Couhig era when the subject of Bodger came up
Me “I’m not a fan”
Pete C “why? ‘cause he’s a pedo?
True story.
"I was like yeah whatevs"
Amazed a team from Texas did not come up with this first.
But Austin FC have Matthew McConaughey drumming on the pitch before the game
Can someone ask me about British Bus and Coach builders 1930-1974

It might be a long shot but does anyone know anything about British bus and coach builders in the era 1930-1974?
Do I…🥹(note to self don’t scare anyone like that last time)
Not sure if it was confirmed but Rich has posted on Twitter ‘option year triggered’ so guessing that confirms it’s a years extension only.
Who is Graham? Are you referring to Jeremy Sauer, the Academy Director? Or even Sam Grace?

I meant Jeremy. I don't know where the name Graham came from!
He does look like a Graham though 😅🤷♂️

Rising inflexion or "uptalk" has various origins and interpretations. Look at this:-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_rising_terminal
I don't care what it's called... it bugs me

Yes... i likened it to how Australians speak so people understood what I meant.... but yes it is more of an American version they do.
Forced positivity.... is this really how they speak day to day or trained media talk?
Vocal fry is more annoying than the asking question inflection (while not asking a question!)
Not as annoying as Stephen Fry AMIRITE??
Probably a fashion thing. Will fade in a year or two.
The silver lining if this ownership group ends up a disaster is that we will read a phrase on here that is possibly unique in world history:
"I knew they were up to no good as soon as I heard their high rising terminal".
