Richard Dobson interview on the Wycombe Wanderers Show Podcast
The Wycombe Wanderers Show Series 5 EP 14
Not sure if the above link will put it to the right place, but Dobbo comes on at around 17:23, and I found his interview fascinating, especially when it comes to how QPR went. Obviously Dobbo is always a classy chap, but he was pretty clear (to my mind) that QPR players more or less downed tools, and that he was not happy about going into the job without it being clear that they would have no money to spend in the summer if they stayed up.
I still suspect he did not want to go in the first place, though others might dispute that, and he sees Blooms as carrying on the work he and GA started, and talks a little wistfully about he and GA never having the money to kick on in the way the team is now.

An interesting listen - a reminder of how much Dobbo did for our club and of what a thoroughly great bloke he is.
It is great to hear how positive Dobbo is. Good to hear that he has spent the last year keeping busy gaining more knowledge and always pushing himself. I would love to have been a fly on the wall in some of his arguments with Gaz!! I hope that it all pays off in his new role
Excellent, insightful interview with Dobbo and clear his heart is still with the club. Certainly sounds that if Ainsworth and him had known about the financial pressures just around the corner when they went to QPR, things may have been different. Comes across as one of lives decent human beings and deserves success at Shrewsbury. Wish he was still somehow involved with us.
Superb interview. You can tell he misses Wycombe dearly
Great to hear Dobbo so bright and positive. Good luck to him and Gaz, I really hope they can build something special again.
He's gone to Shrewsbury with Gaz so at least he has a job now so good for him.
He will be back one day in some capacity I’m sure
