That's a fair point, and I'll be honest one I hadn't thought about, I'm guessing that's the reason then. Never mind doesn't matter now, the Frank Admas will be open 3rd round when we're at home to Man Utd
Hope Bartolo is back by then and plays. Wealdstone fans don't seem to rate him so having him score against them would be good - he's been getting good reviews at Weymouth as improving their attack despite not yet. scoring himself
I mean unless they've fixed their drainage there's a non-zero possibility of the fixture being swapped because late November is when the rain tends to start bogging up Grosvenor Vale.
I'm sure they said on TV today that Birmingham had 1500 at Sutton. If it was just 15% their allocation should have been 1050 from a 7000 capacity ground - unless my maths is wrong of course. (7000 * 0.85 = 5950)
Nothing to stop home club allocating away club more than 15%.
would have thought Wealdstone would be confident of selling their 85% if capacity figures above are correct, so if segregation configuration allows, doubt if we will get much more than the minimum.
Who is the woman hosting the draw? That’s the second time she’s given a little factoid about every single club drawn except for us. Reckon she’s a Col U fan.
Not sure how much consideration is given to this, but with League fixtures on both the preceeding and following Tuesdays, I'd think we'd be keen on this being a Saturday match.
As well as Max Kretzschmar and Craig Eastmond, Wealdstone also have an Ashford (Sam) and a Barrett (Mason). The Stones were another of those teams we looked up to in the 80s, and their centre back pairing of Paul Bowgett and Dennis Byatt were fearsome, two of the toughest players I have seen. Andy Graham and Brian Greenaway were also in the double winning side of 85-86, and Les Reed was coach.
Hi Wanderers fans - Tim Parks here from the Wealdstone programme, looking for someone (ideally with years of support behind them) to answer questions in an ‘away fans’ feature for the big game. Nothing too exhausting! Email me please on [email protected]

You’ve got no fans!

We should take as many as they can give us, nice and local and most of those who travel have probably been in pre season one year.

For league games away allocation is normally 1,025, including 369 seats.

Let's hope it's televised as that'll calm the ticket quest.
Delighted with that draw. Now hoping it’s not a Monday night televised fixture - unless we end up hosting it at AP.
You've got no communication from your owner! You want some???
Hopefully the recent work has fixed the drainage problem.

Is that Wealdstone raider fella still with us ?
Likely to be only about 612 tickets on offer (FA Cup rules say up to 15% subject to safety considerations)
I’m sure the official capacity is only 3200’ish, not what it says on wiki, much like our own capacity on wiki is wrong

From their official site:
The Ground: The Vale, Grosvenor Vale, Ruislip, HA4 6JQ
Capacity: 4,100 (623 seats, 904 covered standing, 2,573 uncovered standing)

I remember going there a few years ago for a friendly when they had Scott McGleish playing in a marauding centre back role. Very ‘cosy’ ground.
Lazy, cba looking at dates, is it 3 weeks away¿¿??????
It’s the @micra derby!
I forgot that Wealdstone's double winning manager, Brian Hall, was the coach here under John Reardon.
