  • Only one possibility for me. And I wasn’t there or watching video. But he seemed to be playing well in addition to his two goals.

Hartridge came in for a bit of stick following the error which led to the first York goal but it sounded like he competed well for the rest of the match.

  • Gone with Leahy for his goal contributions and solid defending, but thought Bakinson was superb too. Kodua solid. Not too many other standouts.

  • I listened in on the club audio stream, difficult to make a decision when you dont see the action but obviously Leahy made a huge contribution. From Phil's commentary it seemed Skura, Pattendon, Butcher, Kodua & Kone all had good games too.

I went for Jasper. I was underwhelmed by Leahy but I suppose you can't argue with two goals. (That was the best free kick I've seen from him, I think.) Skura, Bakinson and Butcher were decent and Wheeler made a positive difference when he came on too. What a squad.

  • I really rate Jasper so it was good to hear/read comments about how well he played.

  • You been dipping yer crisps in the amber nectar, @Wendoverman ?

Can’t copy down your comment for some reason.

    Aaah, there it is.

  • He has a really unique scampering style of running doesn't he?

He's done well to get ahead of McCarthy in the pecking order, and never lets us down.

  • I’m sure you did look energetic and dangerous, @Wendoverman.

  • Must admit, hadn’t noticed anything particularly different about Jasper’s running style. He is relatively short of stature and, presumably, has shorter than average legs so that may have some bearing. I’ll obviously make a point of looking out on Tuesday for any scampering tendencies, assuming that Jack will not have recovered from the battering administered by two or three Orient players last weekend.

  • I was on a train @micra and then a Wycombe born Oxford fan(!?) got on and insisted on engaging me and interrupted my gasrooming.

  • I think Jasper. Luke scored a great free kick and his pen but had some off moments. Had Scowen stayed on all game he would have taken it I imagine but Jasper worked his ass off today.
