It's certainly chalk and cheese between the new and old ownership groups. Professional vs Unprofessional. Business vs Family. Loud, boisterous communication vs more calculated comms.
Absolutely loved Pete’s enthusiasm and commitment to our club. I thank Rob for all he did for the club at a very difficult time but don’t miss most of the crap that he communicated. Showed his true colours when he said he was selling us because of his age and travel commitments and then turn up on Reading’s doorstep!!!
Have to say I prefer the professional and measured comments from the new management team. Only communicate when there’s something to say.
The clearest statement from ML is the money we’ve spent on the playing staff this season. Even thought the first team isn’t his top priority, he’s put us in a fantastic position.
A friend with vague aging interest in Wycombe asked me about the Mitchell sacking and I thought I'd have a look and read a thread I had left alone. None the wiser.
You can only sell once as the old phrase goes and the new owner and his delegates will expect full control in return for their coin. There's almost zero info on here to back up the raft of guesses and accusations. It may have been related to personality clash or direction of travel. It happens in all organisations, but particularly where an owner has invested heavily and has a vision. Nothing happening at Harlington for example is likely to be coming out of gate receipts any time soon.
Reminds me of Brentford getting rid of their manager and key staff a few years back despite being at an all time high to go "data first", they did ok.
Blooms in the last year has done an amazing job and ordinarily you'd say leave it with him and let him get on but there's clearly an overall picture and I really hope he fits with that and is here for many successful years.
Right to have concerns but nobody outside of the club knows who is exactly responsible for what and how it all fits together. Job title isn't everything. Our signings will be part planning, part opportunistic.

Must say I agree, I'm not missing Rob's bullshit

Some will love it, some will hate it.

My apologies to ML & the rest of you, I clearly missed that; it is indeed exactly what I would expect a new owner to do.
As I said I am more than happy with the announcements, interviews etc from Dan Rice

I really hope that the nod to Dobbo is part of a wider effort to bring him back into the fold.
Data is good, but Richard Dobson seemed to excel at the human element of it all, like very few else.
We want Dobbo back, say we want Dobbo back!!!!
There’s only one Richard Dobson, one Richard Dooobson, one Richard Dobson
