Sadlier has become my favourite Wycombe player to watch. I think he has beat his man for every one-on-one he has faced out wide in the two league games so far.
Yup, Sadlier the obvious choice for me, he did squander a couple of good chances on the flipside, but as ever if his finishing was more consistent then we wouldn’t have him.
Thought Low did well also, surprising amount of ball-playing ability for an L1 centre-back.
Bishop made a couple of decent saves if I recall rightly.
I listened to the commentary and it certainly sounded like Sadlier was having a good game, as he so often does. Not sure if I’m allowed to vote without having seen the game but I’ve done it anyway.
Somewhat strange that Kone has gone from top dog to a no show. What sort of a game did he have?
That's fair - I'd almost put it as he did not have a chance to play well because we could not get the ball to him enough. But he pressed well and stole the ball from their silly back passing early on, just could not stick it in.
Yes - I think the only knock on him is that he needs 5-6 good chances to score 1 (which is probably the ratio over the first two games). But the counter is that many of those chances tend to be the type that other players would not create in the first place!

I went Vokes just to irritate...no not really Sadlier all the way. Our main attacking threat and rescued an underwhelming Harvie a number of times.

Shame he pulled that shot wide at 1-2 down, although it would have been slightly rude for us to steal an equaliser at that point.

I’d say he played well but was largely ineffective, if that makes sense. The pass for the first goal was genius in both thought and execution.

He’s a great instinct finisher but he needs to learn not to overthink it when he’s got too much time. It’ll come.
