Chesham United in the National League South
This coming season Chesham United are competing in the National League South for the first time. In August there are a couple of matches that don’t compete with WW home fixtures if anyone is interested:
20/8: v Weston-super-Mare (7.45)
26/8: v Torquay United (3pm) - August Bank Holiday Monday
Chesham have been busy repairing terracing and with possible segregation policies being optionally implemented this should increase the capacity from 3,000 to over 4,000.
Today, Chesham hosted National League Wealdstone in a pre-season friendly. It certainly was a pre-season game with lots of rusty players trying to get up to full fitness. Wealdstone’s Max Kretzschmar, formerly of WW, had to go off at half-time after a horrible tackle from behind left him writhing in agony. Chesham won 1-0 with a 53rd minute goal in front of a crowd of around 400.

Thanks, might well visit there next season. Hope Max is ok, nice guy and still a very good player.
